If you say so, I guess I don't know what I'm talking about despite having put about 30 hours into the game so far. Not like there's a focus put on clans rewards or using clan members characters as bots when you're playing solo, and I guess there's also no always online requirement for the game to facilitate the multiplayer aspect, but again, what do I know?

Like I said, SS features a multiplayer element.

Why should I expect this game to be like the Suicide Squad when that one is billed as a "third-person action shooter", while Reactivate is billed as a "1-4 online action game"?
    TRANSFORMERS: REACTIVATE - Splash Damage

If they turn out to be basically the same type of game, then the companies are doing a shit job at advertising properly.

You're not even attempting to see the similarities and I'm done arguing with a brick wall.

P.S. 1-4 player means it can be played single player

Again, I never said there are no similarities. I am just paying attention to what the actual games are billed as, which shows what aspects of the game the game developers will likely focus at. I showed you the actual official sites for the two games, but OK, you do you, lol.

If you actually were to prove me wrong, I would have conceeded. Not like I am pretending to be some kind of games expert.

The single player mode would be more like an extra probably (meaning it won't really be like the Arkham, Insomniac or WFC games). Since Reactivate is advertised as an online game FIRST.

Also, I checked and the game is going to be free-to-play, so obviously it's not going to be like Suicide Squad.

Outside of the price difference, they’re both PVE 1-4 player co-op looter shooter games that have story elements mixed in.

They are very similar games. One being paid while the other isn’t doesn’t change that.

So, a co-op is a story driven multiplayer game and not a competitive one? If that's the case, that's not so bad...

Co-op is diminutive for "Cooperative games". AKA: a game where you cooperate with other players.

It's not a genre defined thing, it can be anything from Helldivers to freaking Lego.

Reactivated, based on the informations we have available right now, appear to be trying to follow the roots of Games as a Service (GaaS) like Destiny for example. Skibidi Squad tried to follow a similar path, which is what I believe that other guy was trying to say.

Hmm, I see. I thought it was more like Valorant or Fortnite or something when it was called a multiplayer.

    Honestly, who tf know?

One of the first rumours about this game did say that it was inspired by Fortnite after all. Which basically means a game designed around selling colorful skins to a bunch of kids with zero awareness of economy management and unsupervised access to their mom's credits card.

Again, like Suicide Squad tried to do.

I think the greatest issue with live service games depend on its gameplay and story. I think especially if we compare with Arkham verse games is Suicide Squad. The issue with S.S. was the leaks of a certain death and the inconsistency with story lore. With Transformers Reactivate especially in my experience the game doesn't step on toes like Suicide Squad does. It's almost like a separate universe the way the story plays out. It doesn't destroy things like the G1 continuity or G2 continuity as an example. As long as Splash Damage keeps the core concepts and continues to build upon that, I think it could be a really good storyline.

Can vouch for this one here.

The only main comparison I have heard Reactivate, well probably more Rise, was being directly referred to was Warframe and a little bit of Destiny, but besides that, it just depends on who you ask about the game.

I don't see Fortnite being even remotely relevant to this game, as well simply put, it is nowhere near anything like that.

And well referring to unsupervised kids with no concept of money thing, I mean well... we are all kinda grown ass adults who do kinda the same thing and spend ridiculous amounts of money on a thing we love, so I guess that argument is a little invalid...

exactly, like I always say, take it with a grain of salt. Info isn't always concrete. Take it as a rumor. We all know something is at the very least happening in 2024 though. If it doesn't then, Splash Damage and Hasbro messed up. I'll also look bad too if info doesn't follow through
