as a fan of the bayverse, nah, Bay BB's head sucks compared to the G1-styled one. It was always weird how incongruent Bay Bee's face was with the other Autbots.

 

Which is strange to me because you’d think the fanbase would be tired of the G1 designs by now. I like them (for the most part) and they’re nostalgic but I love any time the TF brand tries fresh new designs.

Assuming it didn't suck, I'd buy a miniseries or two set in this Reactivate universe/continuity.

And hey, if you're making comics, they'd probably probably work as pack-ins for new figures too. If you looked on your servers, you might even find some designs for those figures.

For Bumblebee, sure. But I think most people look at Bay Optimus and see a face plate, blue and red truck, which is not very different from G1 to the average viewer. Also the G1 design is the most enduring and does NOT come with any contraversy.

 

Absolutely loving that Bumblebee alt mode. The robot mode needs some work though. The legs are way too thin, and I HATE when artists interpret Bee's chubby face as "gaunt face in a weirdly chunky chinstrap helmet". It's just so ugly...

 

EVERYTHING about that show was awesome, from the control button gags to the constant Transformers references. Also, Kiva was hot.

 

What...? Exactly what about it makes you say this design is like Evergreen Bumblebee?

And nothing of value was lost. Megatron will NEVER be a gun again due to US toy standards. He can be ANYTHING ELSE but not a gun.

And also him being a tank fits him alot better.

I honestly feel that the idea of gun Megatron just doesn't work. First problem is size, and I honestly prefer Transformers to be the size of their alt modes. I think a "gun" of sorts would be a perfect alt mode however, and I think the best alt mode he could have would be an a-10 warthog. What's better than a gun? A gun with wings and a cockpit strapped on it

 

I am not a fan of it. Definitely the tank and helicopter are better imo.

 

All in, time to get a PS5
