I don't think western reviewers have a very high literacy rate tbh

Luckily it isn't for that market. Their handling of it alone shows that as most Generations toys are baby proofed and for kids which fits the bill of the average entitled reviewer.

Literacy isn't the issue, just ham hands. A lack of finesse and dexterity skills

This seems more likely the case. But of course everyone needs to defend Takara because they can do no wrong, right?

Anyways… Does anyone know what western retailer still has MPG-06S? He’s the last one I’m missing and I have some extra cash coming in soon. Thanks :)

Guess now we wait for Predaking and Defensor :) . Barring Hotspot being the same size as Inferno, dont really see the constraints they had with Raiden happening again. He may be finicky, but stuffs not hard combining him, especially with @animetal and Wotafa's videos.

I hear if you even type just 2 words of a Beatles song, they'll lock the thread so tony b doesn't have to pay the massive royalties

If only, there's never a defense anymore just childish mockery. It's how all these threads go, since it's easier to mock the criticizers rather than actually acknowledge and address their criticisms.

I bought all 6. And I still think combined mode kind of sucks. I'm looking forward to see what maybe DNA's kit can do to fix that.

Ah, yes. Because manipulating a product incorrectly and then whining about how it sucks despite your own negligence, is precisely the same as pointing out the flaws and handling a product with care. And if you disagree, you're just a Takara glazer and should be ignored.

You might accuse me of putting Takara on a pedestal (I'm not, Raiden is super-duper flawed. Subjectively however I love it to bits), but it seems that you're prepared to do the exact same thing for reviewers. A very poorly made review can also be the issue. But of course everyone needs to defend reviewers because they can do no wrong, right?

Instead of being polarised, why don't we acknowledge both the flawed nature of the product, as well as the incompetence of the reviewers handling it?

Only if the reviewer(s) in question are incompetent, yes.
But if they were, you wouldn't even catch me watching them.

Another flaw of the toy is that you have to manipulate it in a very particular way for it to work... Emgo is well known for being careful with his toys, Bobby isn't. I watched the review, no matter how careful you are with the figure, the toys' flaws are still there, it could be less floppy If handled with care I guess?

I have several Takara's MP and for the most part they are great. That's why I was expecting more of them with their first "MP combiner".

I imagine Raiden would have gotten less criticism if he had dated the mothers of butthurt people of all the world
