Looks incredibly over-complicated and terribly back-heavy. I wish they had not altered the backpack/train cab, and instead added that large side-gun thing to the leg bots somehow, even as an external item. Putting these big boxes with guns on the side of Raiden\'s legs just will not look good.
Not sure also why he has 3 guns. Maybe some of the earlier ones did not have guns?

We have new images showing off Suiken’s poseability, accessories, bonus parts including Raiden’s sword and his realistic Hakuchō 485-200 Series Limited Express Electric Locomotive alt mode. We also have a clear look at his combiner mode as Raiden’s right arm.

Yeah, only monthly. You can't combine pre-orders for different months, it's not as flexible as HLJ's Private Warehouse or BBTS' Pile of Loot in that regard.

Ugh I hate how good these guys look! I’ve been watching from the sidelines looking at the beauty of em. I just can’t spend the type of money it requires to get em all. I’m still undecided on Suiken as he’s my favourite (that green is so beautiful). May just grab him and enjoy the pics n vids of the full combiner.

I'm usually a love something about every toy and don't kibble shame kinda guy, but this last trainbot just screams PASS. I haven't dove in so far on Raiden, and a manilla shellformer with weird shoulder kibble is the least likely so far to win me over. The price/execution has been a miss for me, and I don't have the OG toys to compare with anyhoodle...

 

Yeah, it's kind of balanced in one hand, and the counterweight is braced by his other hand. Looks totally fine to me.

Yep, mega skip, that backpack and ckible is awful, but I do like the sword.

 

What is this part here? Looks like it detaches from the main bot, right? Not just him scrunched up. So that means part of the backpack is removable. I wonder how much better it looks without that part.

I don't understand what is the point of making CHUG figurines with realistic train modes, while completely spitting on Raiden mode and robot modes, so also call it Masterpiece and pass off something really good for the price? Train fans will buy trains, Raiden fans will buy the Moon Studio offering.

 

Just curious, for people that are really against this figure, do you have the first two? I'm curious how challenging it is to not have the complete team.

 

Eh, not really. I was a huge fan of the MS when they came out, but after buying two Shouki’s and one Getsuei I can say they are both two different things. The MPG ones are very train accurate and IMO thats half the fun right there.

 

By all indications, that's the leg weapon. Looks nothing like it's supposed to, except for the general shape, but I'm pretty confident.

 

Do you think they care to educate themself?
