I wonder if they are going to leave the waist / pelvis, Kaen, to the last? I was really hoping to at least have a partially standing Raiden, but the order they are releasing them, we have two legs, one arm, and the upper torso. But without that pelvis/waist, that torso's just floating...

 

For whoever made the post: Note that we've seen Suiken too. Seizan is the 5th one, not 4th lol.

I might be stupid but I thought we got geometry revealed for him a few weeks ago, but it’s drastically different. Does anyone know the story there?

Yes it was very much by design to have Kaen last. It follows the release numbers of the original Trainbots , and makes the completion of Raiden; with Kaen as the last bot, all the more "satisfying" (we hope)

 

Poor Suiken, completely forgotten about about now that Seizan is on the horizon.

I don’t know why he’d be forgotten about, he has that gorgeous colour scheme. I may be a little biased, since Suiken was the only Trainbot I had as a kid and the sole reason I knew anything about them (thanks to my brother’s trip to Japan in the 80s and one of the gifts he brought back for me). But I do love that gorgeous green, and the orange actually goes with it quite well.

 

Does the red Japanese text say pre-orders go live on January 12th?

 

I honestly think Yukikaze is probs the least talked about release so far.

Yes, official reveal is January 12, so tomorrow in Japan. Sometimes they’re as early as midnight, sometimes they’re at noon. So the earliest we can expect it is 16 hours and 15 minutes from now.

What parts former? The originals had detachable front train units that were parts which folded up too. Stop making lame excuses. Showing your ignorance here, buddy... lol

 

Preferring moon studios so far, unless your so g1 die hard you want backpacks and weird kibble. If this gets a god enough ko I’ll pick it up tho. Ideally with some proportions fixed and issues fixed. Only going off feeling a moon studios bot in hand vs other official mp’s in hand and quality wise either are decent. Bit worried about how mp’s are combining/connectors. Loving the big sword tho. Maybe worth mp instead of moon studios just for that. Does the mp include combiner guns?

Did you honestly expect the second arm revealed to be drastically different in design than the first? They share engineering. And where would the second ankle gun assembly come from if this figure didn’t parts form?
