I’m quite pleased myself, thanks. :D

A friend of mine said the Moon Studio ones look like balloon people and I thought that was the perfect description of them. So I made that logo, and this was the next step.

Dude the fucking logo is so on point that I honestly wouldn't know otherwise if it was plastered on the actual photos like DAMN.

Quite honestly that was the kicker for me.

Humanity sought shelter in the shadow of the moon's light, and these mad fools were harnessing helium for interstellar travel.

It's like I always say, the best memes make even the one making the memes die of laughter.

What in the name of Primus is laying across his shoulders well over the height of Raiden’s head…? Is he doing squats with a pale sub sandwich across his deltoids as resistance?

Yeah, no other TF has the additional "horns" on the leading edge of the helmet the way Prime does, other than Getsuei here.

The only major difference is in the brim. Optimus has a rounded "baseball helmet" brim, with a downward-pointing pentagonal headcrest. Getsuei's head crest is flat on the bottom, and his brim is squared off.

Prime also has the rounded "earphones" thing on the base of his other antennas but overall a lot of the same shapes and design flow is present.

Looks like Getsuei has the round ears as well, just that Prime's are much, much larger, at least in that particular image.

The actual MP deviates a bit more, by making the side vents a larger element, changing the vented mohawk into a solid strip, and making the chin-strap more prominent and protruding. But the art definitely looks very Prime-like.

Anyone know why BBTS hasn\'t put this up for pre-order yet? Would love to have this set up next to the train set I am building

The only interesting train to me is a locomotive like G1 Astrotrain. Every other real-life train is just a brick when turned into a toy IMO.

I do hope they'll release some proper photos of the fully assembled combiner, even if it's just a 3d-render or a grey prototype.
You can't expect people to go all-in on this unless they can see what they're getting in the end, and the vague silhouette doesn't really help.

You have to let go of your usual assumptions on this one. The licensed train aspect is a major drawing point for the target audience, and is moving numbers all by itself.

Actually, i AM all-in on this, even though we hadn't seen much until the first preorders went up. I fully expect to not get a full reveal until at least next year. i just hope we do get some more, better pics.
At the very least we'll be getting some interesting individual bots.

Not only toy accurate, but also quite cartoon accurate, as the cartoon design was heavily based on the toys.

Is it bad that I want these just so I can buy other HO scale cars to make my own trains?

Like imagine Getsuei or Kaen with another locomotive behind them, pulling a 20 car frieght train.
