Does Siege Astrotrain fit any of those scales? I'd imagine a hypothetical Titan Raiden would be voyagers roughly Astrotrain's dimensions (minus the wings). I think I'd prefer a Titan class personally, to square off against Devastator as the original Diaclone combiners.

 

Not sure.. Are there any interview notes done or shared anywhere with the design teams of each train bot projects? That would be pretty awesome if there was any in-depth analysis used.
Side note: @Night Flame ..Id be happy with any version of an long over due modern release of a new Raiden / Trainbot team. Including Micromaster combined versions. No time to be picky. Lol.

The latest Figure King mentioned the event, but had no new news we didn't know about.

 

It would be awesome if it’s a Generations update of Raiden, and as such, he’s added to Generations Selects and available on Hasbro Pulse, just like the Seacons/Pirahnacon

 

Hoenstly i wouldnt be shocked if its just a G1 Reissue, Raiden hasnt gotten one of those.

I have mixed feelings, but it's entirely personal. My buddy TFTheoritician who used to post here was a huge fan of the Trainbots, and he wanted them in any any form...reissues, CHUG size, Titan size.....but he died of cancer a little less than three months ago. So it's a painful thing for me that he was so close to seeing one of his dream toys see fruition but he just missed it.

Sorry to bring everyone down, but I have to admit, since my buddy died, there's just a black cloud hanging over all things Transformers for me. Our friendship was so intertwined with TF fandom that it almost feels obscene for me to keep on going as a collector without him.

 

...Only to have Pulse c#cking these up exactly like the Seacons, leaving the bulk of collectors in US lamenting all over again.

Ok, I kid.  

 

Don't apologize. People mourn in different ways. It's completely understandable that something that tied you so close to your friend could be tough to enjoy now that they are gone.

I'm sure he would be thrilled to know that a modern Raiden toy will be produced and that you will be able to enjoy it.

 

One of the completely normal responses isn’t being ‘brought down’. A solemn response of acknowledgement is acceptable for many.

star convoy and the first 4 seacons all had a month, its only the last two seacons that had a week, and honestly why does hasbro "need" to make their own production run for a character that was never released in any of their markets
