Original release of Rail Racer. Came out in the Car Robots line back in 2000.

I wish I still had my Rail Racer… An updated version would be awesome. I’d be fine with three voyagers, honestly.

It's much more likely, but Team Bullet Train are enormous in the show.

God I wish I owned that toy. Shame the God Convoy reissue was such a botched job or we may have gotten a reissue of him or the build team.

Yet it still didn’t stop Towline from towing Rapid Run. :lol

Ok…fine…leader class! I can’t imagine how massive three Commanders would be. The detail would be awesome, though.

Back to Raiden, I’m really leaning toward a CW Devy sized combined mode…maybe a bit larger. It’s not real easy to determine size based on that Shouki proto, but the details and part sizes seem to indicate a voyager sized bot…maybe a largish voyager.

That's not even in the top 5 strangest things in that show to be fair.

Do a titan combiner like Devastator and Predaking, three commanders instead of six voyagers, or leaders nowadays.

    ,,,And Brave Max.

Glad I picked up the Bullet Trains back in the day.

Would love a mainline Raiden set, dunno if I would have the money for the Masterpieces. :cry

I’d personally prefer the MP Trainbots to be sold individually as an option.

My JRX is also still fine. I never did understood the problems people had with that set. I suppose you could scratch paint off if you're not careful, but that goes for almost any figure. My clear parts aren't brittle or anything either. They're very fun figures.

This will top them though, and for that I can't wait.

To move his arms forward? It's right there next to the double-hinged joint.

I don't recall there ever being major issues with JRX. I think people were just being wary, when the same line included Mach Alert/Prowl, who does have noted translucent plastic issues with his doors.

Back to Raiden here, I'm not seeing immediate warning signs with the way the translucent plastic is being used. Translucent plastic is only a breakage concern if there's significant stress involved - overly tight pin joints, ball sockets, or detented hinges being the usual suspects. From what we can see of the Shouki test shot, the clear plastic panes seem to be static panels, with all the jointing being tied into the solid plastic parts that the window panes are anchored to. No jointing on the translucent parts themselves. Should be just fine.

I would be with you on that one, if not for how bad modern MP QC is. But then again do we know for a fact these parts will even be translucent on the final release? Given how often testshots just use whatever plastic.
