Never cared for any of Zeta’s offerings, or FT Superion, or even really TW Constructor. All because of those pants....I really like MMC Assaultus. If they do a Menasor based on the toy or Ox or anything I will take a good look at that.

Takara problem is that doesn't want not transforming partforming.
After the failed experiment with WFC game Bruticus, with all in one parts, the arms and feet became weapons.
I totally see for the MP line the body that became the Scramble city base, maybe splitted between the components.
Raiden is another beast, maybe only the hands could be partformed.

WFC Bruticus' biggest failing was because it attempted an all-in-one combination on top of an extremely restrictive parts budget. And they tried to have them Scramble as well.

It was certainly a... creative attempt, but certainly didn't look very good.

WfC Bruticus failed? Wasn't his popularity cited as one of the reasons they wanted to do CW?

I think it means failed at being good rather than failed at making money.

This is why I want the combiner kibble for MP Raiden to combine into a railcar, like the old Micromaster Combiners but more creative

"IF" you are into that sort of thing.

IDWhatever never did anything for me, and while that thing could win engineering of the century, I'd still not take it if it was free (I'll really just sell it, no joke).

It is simply that ugly and irrelevant to me. Does not exist.

A built-in transformation scheme works just fine when the toys have the budget to allow for the extra parts. Raiden isn't a Scramble Combiner either, so they don't have to handle that engineering hurdle.

Wait, what is this about the old micromasters pieces forming a rail car?

Reread that. I'm using the comparison of how the old micromaster combiner kibble worked for Masterpiece Raiden

You mean how it all combined into a nondescript "vehicle" that really didn't look like much of anything?
