Yeah. You might want to pay for the premium version of HoloTube so that you can memorize the transformation from time-travelling early reviewers between your daily mandatory ultra-porn sessions. You won’t have a lot of time to get him into torso mode.

It's suppose to be MP, but if you have CW Devastator as CHUG Devastator it could still work.

In CHUG, Powerglide was an Ultra-class figure. Just sayin.

And that Powerglide toy was horrendously out of scale.

True - but sometimes it’s fun to be a little facetious!

Ultra Powerglide was actually a great figure in the TakaraTomy colors at least (and later exclusive repaint). A really fun and different update. I don't mind the scale where there is some precedent considering his vehicle mode.

I came across a tweet I was trying to get confirmation on whether his tweet was fact or him spitballing on the pricing or release method, as it's not been mentioned by anybody else with the book, so the tweet mentions
A bot releases every 3-4 months
    10000 MSRP
Both versions released at the same time a la Skids, Transforner colors and the alternate diaclone color.
Unreleased information or not how does that sound?

Oh Lordy! That’s a tad too cheap in my opinion. Not saying I don’t want a cheaper toy but Shōki looks pretty complex, and I just don’t think they’ll be priced the same as Skids. That toy looks to be rather simple.

also toy and toon released together? That’s really cool. But if that’s the case I won’t be able to get 3 of each like I was hoping. That’s like ¥60,000 3 or 4 times a year. Yikes!

Single release gives us time to save up and I also like the option of toy vs toon and I can pick whichever deco I like to mix and match. Hopefully it won’t take a full 3 years to get all the train bots. Also curious to see how well these scale with the Constructicons. If they look good among the other CHUG voyagers I don’t mind them being a head taller than the CW deluxe limbs. They are trains after all. Either way if Raiden looks good I’m in full tilt

That was my thinking the price was too low, either they are going to be combiner war deluxe size or the transformation is rather simple,I don't think it will be much mass shifting or excessive panel switching though , with possibly with the left over train sections used for combiner feet and hands. But at 7000 yen after discount they could probably sell enough of these that they could offer a lower MSRP too make that work. You'd also have to account for Skyfire and any other possible releases as a price too high is going to make people pick and choose. I'm hoping at most MSRP is like inferno's which would make it sub $100 (13500 yen) but at that price point I 'd be less inclined to double dip unless the repaints started dropping through a dry spell.

I'm fine with the staggered quarterly releases and paired Diaclone decoes, if that's the direction they wind up going. I like the idea of enjoying each Trainbot on his own, one at a time and building the set!

So, there’s gonna be 6 individual Trainbots released over a 1.5 to 2 year period. Wow.
