Getting Soundwave if they release beast/robot modes of the cassettes, especially Ravage.   Ravage seems to suffer the most by having a transformation.

I really think the proof of these puddings will be in the eating, the sculpt/materials look a bit on the soft side... I just hope they aren't in reality.

Eh, I was kind of hoping they would be more articulate since they are ditching alt forms. The accessories are nice but I am really bugged they didn't include Lazerbeak in his bird mode, if Soundwave came with him and was a little more posable it would be an instant buy. Considering that these characters usually retail for about £30 or more and these are only £20, maybe these should be £25 or more so they can give them more paint, articulation and accessories? I feel like these are only £20 because Marvel legends are around that price and they assume that price is the maximum anyone would pay for a figure like that. I understand that these probably aren't for CHUG transformers collectors but WFC trilogy deluxes are only £16.99 and they have as much articulation, more paint (presumably, but Prime looks pretty barren as is) and a better sculpt. (arguably, we haven't seen the rumored TF: Prime figures yet.) These barely look like they are worth that £20, I hope the line continues and gets better, but I will be sitting most of this out.

There's something really weird going on with their necks. Im also not a big fan of the thigh cuts.

Out of these three, I want Megatron as G1 action master Megatron. I think that forgoing transformation to instead have a robot mode that's just stronger and tougher than others fits his whole peace through tyranny and brute force schtick. I mean, when your arm has a fusion cannon, what more can a vehicle mode do?

I do think this line would be the perfect opportunity to bring back some actual Action Masters. Banzaitron, Treadshot, and Skyfall would actually work for this.

Still probably won't be as articulated as a Revoltech toy, but I don't think they'd get away with charging $70 a pop for these.

I\'m not sure about you guys, but these look REALLY interesting. I\'ll at least pick up one (probably the Megatron) and if it\'s good enough at least get the Prime too. Unfortunately I don\'t see my Transformers collection having any room for this line of figures, since the scale probably wouldn\'t work. Either way I\'m excited to see what else they do with the line (heard they have a TFP Knockout and Arcee in the works, interested to see how they scale). Hopefully this line won\'t be another from Hasbro that\'s dead on arrival.

If they even do that, the question would lie with would they even include 5mm hands and a Transforming Targetmaster partner. I mean, Soundwave just comes with a Lazerbeak that's just in cassette mode.

Yess! I would kill for a good, G1 accurate Banzaitron toy.

The replaceable hands and the double-jointed knees and elbows are all plusses for me, and they look good, but I probably won't be picking these up for several reasons:
    1) My non-transforming action figure budget is probably going to go all towards GI Joe Declassified this year.
    2) The recent FlameToy Model kits are more expensive but have more interesting unique designs and also provides the experience of putting together the model, which I enjoy from time to time. So those are currently hitting my Action Master itch way more than this series.
    3) Due to being major characters, all of these characters have recent Generations toys that I already own that were already very good for posing and articulation purposes.

It's unfortunate that I just can't justify picking up these figures, as I would be interested in seeing this series continue long enough to hit more obscure characters that would work very well as non-transformable figures.

As someone who wasn\'t excited about these and doesn\'t really collect any non transforming toys in general, they look pretty good. I can\'t really find any flaws in their overall designs at all, and I might even pick one up if they release some other characters.

Gimme Shockwave, Grimlock, and Dinobot and I\'m sold, baby.

I've got to admit that I am way more tempted to collect these than I thought I would. These definitely look like the best non-transforming Transformers figures that have been made. The Mega SCF figures were OK but the plastic was a little too soft and rubbery. Revoltech figures looked too Dreamwave and those spherical hip joints were an eye sore. These look like they jumped right out of the Sunbow cartoon.

Not really interested. The accessories should come stock with all figures. Hands should be interchangeable.

    Ikr?

I also wish there was a way to do modern Pretenders with an articulated shell and a decent inner robot.

Good excuse to reintroduce the Legends size

If I look at them exclusively through the lens of what Action Masters should've been, then...

Why would Prime come with Laserbeak, or Bumblebee with the Energon Mace?
Also the hands ARE interchangeable, just sayin'.
