This is a commissioned piece going to a very good repeat customer. Magnus was completely repainted to a lighter, metallic, shade of blue with mirror chrome and red highlights. I hated the red trim on his alt mode so I omitted them on this figure giving him a more streamlined alt mode IMHO. I fixed his hammer in this position because the gun gimmick was the typical Hasbro stupid. I also upgraded this figure giving him dual light up features in the chest and eyes that can be operated individually or together.
The colors and chromes look stunning! I think the only issues I can possibly see are that the chest window cheats aren't defined and the hammer is too monochrome. I think some color in at least part of the hammer would make it part of the whole rather than just a weapon.
Ah.... glad you mentioned that. I actually like his look like this better. When the wheels are wrapped it makes him legs look less defined or powerful IMHO.
