I don't think so. And Transformers Prime is not the new Generation 1.

 

Well it seems that voicing our displeasure was worthwhile because atleast now we have more information. I still feel the Beast Hunters sounds like a cop-out though, so unitl there is a complete picture, it doesn't really change much...

 

Everyone is still concerned with season 3 being only 16 episodes. Has Combs said there would only be 16 episodes, or did he just refer to the 16th episode as the end of that iteration, and possibly the end of his work/end of Ratchet. I've got a feeling season 3 will turn out to be a regular 26 episode season, but with a major event or shake up about half way through it.

 

Oh Good, now I won't have to wait 3 years for another series

That is pretty good, Transformers Prime is the long-awaited Neo Transformers G1 but I am pretty concerned about the poor quality of the Transformers nowadays.

I was comparing Armada Starscream with Transformers Prime Voyager Starscream and I can say that I expected something better for a figure made 10 years later. Transformers Prime Voyager Starscream has more articulation, yes, but is to fragile and plus has almost no gimmick, only a non sense weapon.

Hasbro is doing the same thing with My Little Pony. Season 3 is only 13 episodes instead of 26, but it's hinted to the point of confirmation that more seasons are coming and that some will be shorter than others.

I just think Hasbro should listen more to what fans think as varied and noisy as that would be... Prime is a great show/product, any problem they have with it is surely mainly about marketing and so on, the audience it reaches. A number of people have also said lot's of useful stuff about the limited distribution of the toys and what not... They should think about that before chop and change so drastically.

The drop in quality of the toy material i can accept as being just a characteristic/model of the times as it seems no matter what show they do the toys would be the same quality/material these days.

 

Based on available details, I'm going to start my crazy theory on what this is going to be all about...

The Autobots and Decepticons will team up against the "beasts", who have taken over the planet and is wreaking havoc on both sides.

(Yes, it kinda sounds like the Sun Imps plot)

 

Well I'm just glad that Transformers Prime wont be ending on season 3. The story line is really good, and the bot designs are awesome, and the toys are pretty sweet too.
