No. Tolerances for the hole/peg are just a little off, so the gun likes to pop out of its own volition, like it's getting squeezed out.
Video review of TF Prime RID Deluxe vehicon in Chinese You may have problems playing the video, It takes time. It's in Chinese but it shows off the sneaky kibble hiding spot. The RID vehicon part starts after 10-11 mins This is NOT my video å°ä¸é«˜å…´å’Œä»–çš„å˜å½¢é‡‘刚们--TFP(领袖之è¯ï¼‰ä¹‹é‡äº§å…µ_æ‚兵(Vehicon) - 视频 - 优酷视频 - 在线观看 As usual delete if posted already EDIT: can't seem to directly embed the video, google chrome sort of translated the page for me but it doesn't exactly make sense EDIT 2: This seems to be in it's own window 优酷æ’*放器 EDIT 3: third attempt, how the heck do I embed the video -.- http://player.youku.com/player.php/sid/XMzc1MDM2MDQ0/v.swf
Engineering wise (and in alt mode), yeah, this is incredible... but I still like the FE more . It's almost like you fold up the top half of the car like a piece of paper.
Here we see the rare Turtlecon, safely protected inside its thick shell of kibble. But seriously, can't wait for the RiD version. The FE looks like the clear winner when it comes to the vehicle mode, but that RiD transformation is so neat, and the robot mode blows the FE out of the water for me, even with the goofy arms. Even the poseability is better. So excited. Need this!
Honestly, i REALLY like the colours of the first edition better. The robot mode of FE has such nice colours. That said, the mold is obviously better for Prid. If they painted the Prid version with the FE colours, it would probably be the most gorgeous the greatest figure of any line ever.
If anyone wants to see the transformation of the RiD version, it starts at about 13.5 or 14 mins in, and lasts for 2-3 mins. The video is almost 30 mins long!
I hate to be "that guy" but ... knockouuuut! Also, the toy looks great. Kind of surprising how little there is to transform once the legs get finished, but the total package works well. I look forward to adding him to my (very small) prime decepticon army.
Need. Vehicon. I'm seriously liking the look of this iteration far more than the First Edition. A few of the purple bits seem a bit too purple, but other than that, this looks like a clear winner. I wish you went over the articulation and whatnot, though. Still very much appreciate the review.
Excellent review, and "lateral move" seems like a perfect description of the comparison between FE and RiD here.
