i love Prime as much as the next guy, but you gotta admit that it left some things hanging during its run.

Let's try and talk about them here  

 

The thing that bothered me the most was that Ratchet said that if you ground bridge outside of Earth the vortex could snap and scatter them at random areas but then the were able to TP to space and Cybertron with no problem.

 

Teleporting to space in Darkness Rising was the Autobots taking the risk, and they had the good fortune not to be scattered across Earth/the galaxy. They only teleport to Cybertron when 1) They hijack the Decepticons' Ground Bridge and 2) Optimus Prime uses the Forge of Solus Prime to pound their Ground Bridge into a Space Bridge. Of course, said Space Bridge is promptly destroyed along with the Autobot base, so I'm guessing they salvaged the Ground Bridge from the Harbinger when they moved to Hangar E.

 

I think one of my favorites has to be Optimus' 180 on the Omega Lock in season 3.

Episode 10: "We cannot allow Megatron to Cyberform this world"

Episode 13: "I cannot doom Cybertron again."

What happened there? Did Optimus decide he hated Earth in three episodes? Did he accidentally forget his guilt for Cybertron in episode 10? I guess it makes him relatable. I hate it when I forget things. My keys, what I had for breakfast yesterday, dooming my entire world...

 

It was a complex issue. A lot of people were upset that he made a split-second decision to save Earth but destroy Cybertron in the process. Think about it. If you had to choose between one place which is already in ruins but still your original home, and a place where you have made friends, what decision would you make?

 

But why does he change his mind about the rebuilt Lock within three episodes?

 

Fair enough. I'd chalk it up to uncertainty, but make of it what you will.

 

Ah shit, I forgot about that.

 

• What happened to Shockwave. Last we saw him, he was telling the Predacons to go fight Unicron and then he just disappeared. What happened to him?
• What happened to Airachnid? She got sent to Cybertron's moon with an army of zombie Insecticons. We never got to find out what happened to her. Did the Autobots encounter her when they were re-building Cybertron? Did Megatron fight her after Predacons Rising?

 

I guess I would assume that she perished once she ran out of insecticons to drain dry. If they'd decided to bring her back, it was an option, but for now she's effectively dead.

 

Not so much a plot hole, but the character inconsistencies will forever bother me, especially the supposed moral lessons.

 

Something that's always bothered me was when the ship came alive and needed to find the relics. And when they asked the ship/Trypticon why he wanted to find the Keys he just turned off the call and refused to explain himself. The ship's conscious also never resurfaced, so like, why even bother with the episode? Why did he want the relics? Who knows, the writers never bothered giving us that detail.

 

Not sure if this counts as Prime,but where was Windblade when Unicron was awakened and when the earth was about to get cyberformed?The Autobots could have really used her help at those times.

 

Maybe, but Soundwave was trapped in the Shadowzone with no Energon for five years and he turned out fine. If he can survive, Airachnid probably could too. Maybe she'll return in RiD.

 

I think that's the point. She's essentially on ice. If they decide they don't want her back, she's essentially dead, unable to pull off the same trick Soundwave did (he always was better). It's easy enough to see that as death for her. But if they want to use her again, they have the option of saying there were enough insecticons to sustain her until she figured a way out. Heck, maybe she'll turn out to be behind the new council's mad on against Bee.

 

What I always inferred was that the ship, in the show, was never Trypticon, and that it was merely following it's last programmed objective, which was the relics.

However, the show never explained that, and secondary material blatantly makes the Nemesis Trypticon. And that's what fans would have wanted to see anyway, afterall Animated had Omega Supreme as the Autobot's ship, and what would've made for a more interesting episode. But instead it is one of the most pointless frigging plot devices ever. It's especially hilarious how poor FOC bent over backwards to try and give plot points for the show to work off of, and Prime aggressively ignored it's role as part of a larger universe.

 

Airachnid's whereabouts but RID might take care of that.

What about MECH. They were said to be a large organisation around the United States. CYLAS attacks a small group who worked with him and all of the sudden, the whole group was wiped out.

Not really a plot hole but if a Decepticon in RID finds Nemesis Prime and reactivates it, i would break into a happy dance.

 

I got one. I don't care how good Raf was with computers. How the hell did he understand Bumblebee? Also DID his family ever find out about the Transformers? I don't remember if it was ever mentioned what Fowler's excuse to the family was about them having to relocate.

Also, left dangling. I wonder if Jack ever got Sierra to date him  .

 

I shit, I totally forgot Raf's magic ability to understand Bumblebee.

 

That would be a cool plot twist, although it probably won't happen
