i seriously cannot wait for this line. voyager prime is absolutely incredible. i'll get this because i want megatron and i want a prime to hold me over 'til the voyager comes out.. but we seriously need a voyager megatron.
To look like the show's windoe chest, it would be impossible to do that with the real truck windows in Deluxe size.
Given Prime's actual design, doing it in any size would be difficult without a bit of cheating, really.
Why all the hate on this toy? I picked up the SDCC version and this guy is actually pretty awesome. His transformation is fun and for a deluxe he is pretty complex.
OH NOES! It's VIEW MASTER Optimus Prime! It doesn't look horrible, but as everyone has already stated, the fake windows hamper his look significantly.
And yet, every other time they've done this, people bought it. And they keep doing it. It's almost like the multi-billion dollar toy company that's been in business for decades knows more than you do. Nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Yeah, but the jump in price between Deluxe and Voyager is often quite small, like $5 or so. While the jump in quality of the toy between Deluxe and Voyager is sometimes quite large.
Where do you live that it's five dollars? Going from deluxe to voyager is 10, minimum. Also why are you complaining? If the voyager is just so obviously better than get that and don't even bother with the deluxe. Nothing is forcing you to buy it.
Nope. The jump is 10 dollars.And that is only counting USA around here for example the jump is 60$ which is even higher. Not everybody can buy the bigger toys, that is why it's great that smaller class versions exist.
Why get defensive about it? Okay, $5-$10. The last Voyager I picked up was Fireburst Optimus for $20. And the last Deluxe I picked up was one Roadbuster for $14. So yeah. Maybe the difference is more often closer to $10, but a lot of times, like my most recent purchases, it's less.
