This is a commissioned Knockout for an excellent repeat customer. He was supposed to be transformable, however during the takedown process one of the pieces that is held together with a pin snapped (as the plastic just seems to be getting cheaper and cheaper Hasbro...) Anyway, we negotiable a workable solution - Action Master style Knockout. He was taken apart, completely cleaned, primed, and airbrushed painted (except his face, and some tiny detail work). I also wet sanded in between coats on the reds to really make him glossy.
if he's an action master, why not bend his fenders, fill his body up and give him a sasaying joint? (torso tilt) etill, nice paintwork.
Thanks guys! Well, we worked out a price for the action master...any of those mods you mentioned would have raised his price.
Looks awesome as usual!! Was there no way to make his neck/shoulder grill things for the more accurate look?
i dont even wanna think of how hard that panel lining mustve been! outstanding. he looks like a comic book pop up
Thanks man, yeah there prolly was a way but my customer waited long enough and I am running out of free time. Thanks guys! I do appreciate the feedback It really wasn't that hard man. For this one I actually used a japanese ink marker (very, very tiny tip) and easy to use with a steady hand. Thanks! Have fun man, this one was a tough little bastard.
