Can someone tell me what the differences are going to be between the Frist Edition Line of figures vs the Mainline of figures that are coming out. I just want to know which figures I should be hunting down before they become harder to find.
First Edition = Superior Molds show accurate figures R.I.D. = Gimmicky line and questionable mold choices I would buy all of the First Edition before the prices become insane.
Is there a list of figures that were just the first editions? I was looking into just getting a bulkhead and vechicon but if the mainline is going to be crappy I want to know what other figures I should rethinking buying.
Here are the first editions: Voyagers: -Optimus Prime -Bulkhead (Both superior to the mainline figures, especially the latter) Deluxes: -Bumblebee -Cliffjumper -Arcee -Starscream -Vehicon -Zombie Cliffjumper From what we have seen, however, the mainline Vehicon is actually more accurate, and arcee looks to be good. There is also a FE entertainment pack containing Deluxe Prime and Megatron.
The mainline isn't crappy, its actually very good. First Editions I feel were the better figures, but don't let that say to you the mainline is bad. The mainline itself is very good and I'm very pleased with it. First editions include, Deluxe - Starscream Bumblebee Arcee Cliffjumper Vehicon Megatron Voyager- Optimus Prime Bulkhead Don't think I missed any in that list. Keep in mind, the voyagers, and deluxe CJ, Megatron and Vehicon were not released in the US so your best bet is takara. And try to grab them quick, I suspect the prices to shoot up if they haven't already.
