I just want to clarify, are there really new molds for Bumblebee and Cliffjumper? Or were the original views of the two toys mistransformed?

I'm wondering about that because i recall Hasbro saying they wanted to get Cliffjumper out as early as possible before people forget about him. And if that's the case why invest in two different molds of the same character?

 

they are apart of the TAKARATOMY preview wave, not the hasbro first edition wave:

Two different toys. They made them to make more money

 

they can't be in the first edition assortment if they aren't in the CASE ASSORTMENT

that is the exact case assortment that will be shipped to stores for the launch of transformers prime

 

They could just be Wave 2 of the preview line, a case assortment that hasn't leaked

 

.....you are just desperately trying to make yourself right, vehicon and terrorcon cliffjumper are wave 3 of transformers prime, this has not changed. there is only ONE WAVE of the preview line, cause it is the first. If they show up in stores around the same time, what happened was that store got in some cases of wave 2 and 3 along with their wave one shipment, like what happened with animated wave 2 (Ratchet and Blackarachnia)

gosh its like arguing with the people who think the voyagers aren't in the first edition wave

yeah, and that was what? on a display card at SDCC and/or botcon? those aren't always set in stone you know

 

If they weren't true, they would have changed them like they did at Botcon

 

all i have to say is the price of BBTS exclusive seacons, whose actual price was $10 more than the card at botcon said it would, and people unwarrantly wined

those cards are just estimates

Asking my question again, anyone have side by side comparison shots between the different molds for bumblebee and cliffjumper?

 

Don't think I'm gonna touch any of these until I know how many other characters besides Bumblebee & Cliffjumper are possibly being released with different mold designs in the 'regular' series.

 

The source clearly states "Available Toys R Us Canada exclusively the items that will hit in the next few weeks are the Transformers Prime First Edition Deluxe Figures and the Prime First Edition Entertainment Pack."

So does that mean that we're only getting the deluxes and not the Voyagers?

 

Starscream is getting a Voyager

Bumblebee is getting a new mold

Cliffjumper is getting a new mold

Optimus is bound to have a Leader class toy

and Arcee probably will see a new mold as well.

Even so, I plan on getting all of these, a new mold doesn't mean a better toy.

 

Yup, knew about that one and am definitely waiting for it.

See, I'm not convinced he will. I know there are supposedly 2 Leader molds in the pipe, but I'm hedging my bets that they will be for Megatron and another large character who warrants a toy of that size. But who knows.

And that's what I'm worried about. I want to get the most accurate versions of the figures possible, so hopefully we'll have a little more info from Hasbro by the times everything starts rolling out (no pun intended).

In this case, I think it will. I might be wrong, but I'm guessing the reason we're getting new CJ & BB molds is exactly that - because they refined the designs to make them more show accurate.

Hard to say though since we haven't really seen Hasbro do anything like this before.
