I was watching the first episode of Transformers Prime on the cw channel for kids, they have a new block, first it was called Toonzai now it called Vortex. I usually tune in to watch Sonic X but I knew they were showing Transformers Prime.

FIRST episode, where Starscream kills Cliffjumper, they actually show Starscream stick his hand in Cliffjumper, but they DON'T show him pull it out, and the dripping.

They edited it why is it ok to show this on the Hub but not on the cw channel?

Because the networks can do whatever they deem appropriate?

I think all syndicalized (is that word?) versions cut that particular stabbing.

Pretty much all dubs across the word have it removed.

 

It is pretty gruesome, even for robots.

Its like why show the series, which honestly is one of the weakest in the franchise, and take out all the good parts, huh? Even though you have to pay for the Hub channel (I made my parents buy the Hub for me, or else I'd make their lives VERY difficult), but who watches Vortex anyway? It has gone down hill since its Toonzai days.

 

I am finding the commercials to be very bad, The bumpers suck, The commercials suck, and there are to may breaks.

The CW's Vortex TFPrime should have the subtitle "Just get the Hub and/or Netflix".

 

Because the people who work for CW think every little thing is going to traumatize kids and/or offend people.

I remember when they were showing DragonBall z kai, and they replaced "he's dead" with "he's gone" and the little halos were just lights. They also conveniently censored Piccolo's blood despite it being purple.

To be blunt, they're all morons.

 

Honestly...I didn't really notice the edits. I guess I was glad enough to finally be watching the show on TV, that I didn't really care. Besides, it's not like they somehow cut out Cliff's death entirely...THAT would have been something to bitch about.

 

Don't forget about turning Mr. Popo's color from black to blue.

 

You ever watch The Unicron Trilogy? If not, please do. I think you will find that TF: Prime, while is not the best, is not one of the weakest in the franchise...

 

Same here. I was super pumped to be able to watch it on tv, since I don't have cable or dish.

 

Uhm... WTH dude! You'd make your parent's lives miserable if they didn't purchase a single premium cartoon channel for you? I'm sorry, but, that makes you sound incredibly bratty and spoiled. You can't just watch the week's episode on The Hub's website, or on youtube like most everyone else? Or better yet, just buy the DVDs?

ALSO I have a TV in my room, and since its my room, my rules. I decide what channels I want on the TV in my room, and I told my parents that if I didn't get the Hub, let's just say I wouldn't be a very happy camper until they got me the Hub.

We didn't have Hub before Prime came on, but I knew it would be coming on cuz I saw a commercial for it on another channel, so I told my parents, if I can't watch Prime on the TV in my room, you're not gonna like it.
