<sarcasm>Yay, more things to remind me of the movieverse.</sarcasm>

I will give the show a chance, but it is going to have to be stellar to wash the bad taste of the movies out of my mouth.

Prediction: It's going to be a movie version of the show, or from the looks of it, must be a show of what happened on Cybertron before TF1.

Maybe knowing that the movie line is so good, the earth modes of the WfC chracters will resemble a widely adored aesthetic.

100% THIS. I think the show will speak for itself once fully unveiled. Until then, I'll reserve any and all final judgment. Besides, if this took the movie design aesthetic, streamlined it enough to make it brilliantly unique all over again, AND delivered the great characterizations and storylines the movies couldn't give us, then what isn't to love about THAT!?

I think it's supposed to premiere sometime this Fall. Which, if that's true, I'd suspect some toys to debut at Botcon, perhaps?

Wow, alot of you are quite judgemental on a movie-inspired design. Seriously tho', i think this is what we should have exprected with the earlier mention of Orci and Kurtzman being producers for the new show.

I don't mind it personally. I think the movie-verse TFs still need alot of depth and expansion to their characters and stories, and a TV series is a good way to do it. Not that i'm saying this new series will be directly tied in with the movies, but it could take elements from them and develop them into something richer and fuller.

And remember how we all whined when we saw the first images for TFA? But as soon as we got to watch the episodes, many of us changed our opinions drastically. This new series has the potential to do the same thing. If the writing turns out to be good, then i'm sure we'll warm up to it.

    Stay open-minded people.

And i'm guessing that this series will be done in a type of cel-shaded CGI?

Although I am not a big fan of the movie verse I am still willing give it a try. I am not happy about Bumblebee’s appearance however, I will not judge the entire series based on one promotional image.

Not a fan of the Movie designs but I am always open to change.

The best part is that the series is still written in America. I have more issues with japanese series than I do the movie. Nothing against Japanese stuff I just don't relate to the cultural diferences.

So here is to hoping for another hit alla Animate.

    Thanx

Honestly it looks more like the Transformers: Heroes concept art to me than anything else, which I'm fine with. I always preferred the aesthetic of the the Jetfire/Jetstorm art and the Hotrod/Rhinox prototypes to the Animated style.

Also I hope they keep the engineers of the Animated line as the transformations were brilliant. Love me some prowl.

Look at it this way. I think we can all agree that the Bay movies put much more emphasis on developing the human characters than the robot characters (whether or not that's a good thing is up to you). This show will allow a chance to give a lot of development to the robot characters, thus rounding out the movie universe.

Personally, I'm jumping up and down in excitement. :bay

For what it's worth, I never liked the Transtech designs either. ;)
