You know what Hasbro, I'm keeping my Money, that's right, no sale.

I am curious to see what a Arcee would look like, or the Rescue Bots.

My fear is that this will eventually affect all their future lines. I already have the originals of the upscaled ones, but still. I SERIOUSLY hope this is for the prime line only. Or atleast if they divided this into a sub-line.

I never thought I'd see the day that hasbro started producing oversize knockoffs. is this what they mean by "If you can't beat them, join them"?

That is admirable. People just wasn't expecting literally upscaled Legoins but something closer to say, a Power Rangers robot or a Fast Action Battler.

They manage to make a toy that transforms but somehow has less articulation then g1 toys.

Go to 4Chan for that. I hear it works wonders.

While these figures are... sad at best, they will make really good custom fodder.

    There. Positive comment!

Well, they dont look too bad and to be honest, I think more kids will be into these. My nephews, ages 8 & 11, both dont really transform their transformers when playing. My oldest nephew will find a toy car thats similar to the robot that he's playing with and just uses the toy car when he wants the figure in vehicle mode. He says it takes too long to transform the TF back and forth.

So for a play pattern for kids, these probably do make more sense. I just hope they keep the Generations line's more complex transformations (which it looks like they are from the pics of the new figures).

I've given Hasbro the benefit of the doubt probably more than they deserve, but this is sorely disappointing. As everyone said it's just larger legends/legion toys, re-engineered slightly for the new size. I could deal with them better if they improved articulation over the small toys, but that does not appear to be the case. I'm hoping this is just an experiment or a sub-line like "Fast Action Battlers" (I'm thinking the former - fill time before movie 4, and check to see if big simple Armada-esque toys sell better than more complex ones.) - and not a sign of things to come. I've never rooted for a line to tank before, but I do here if it sends a message.

Even so, I may get an upsized Predacon or two, as they were favorite legends toys.

If they're less than current Deluxes at retail, I'll buy one just to experience it.

Your missing the point fully though.. the point is that the plastic and paint used on these is totally wasted! It could have been used on much better items that a wider base of customers would want to buy than someone just looking to buy knock-offs for 5 year olds. (And yes I know its a kids line of course, but there is just better ways of doing it.)

You need to petition a toyline to stop? A toyline you don't plan on buying?

All I can say is, if the 5 Terrorcons can be easily modded to combine again, I might care, and that is if ALL 5 come out.

I might also get a Voyager Hardshell too.

I was angry, okay? Sometimes I get flustered when I get angry. Still, some of my points are valid. I don't know what Hasbro hopes to accomplish here, but it's not going to work.

I can't wait until Walmart steps in and says "Oh hell no. You're not leaving us stuck with this shit. It already doesn't sell and now you want to make it worse? No."

Can't wait for retailers to say something. And they do have power.
