I think the Rescue Bots show up some time during season 1, after the mini series. Not entirely sure tho.

That would make the most sense.

Also, not to be too spoilery, but the RBs are NOT warriors, they're Cybertronian Civil Servants. Prime expressly tells them he wants to keep them out of battle. So in RB Optimus is keeping the RBs away from the battle, and by extension he could certainly be keeping the battle away from the RBs in Prime by keeping their existence secret. That's why Heatwave & Co. are holed up on the other side of the continent from this latest Bot/Con skirmish.

This always made sense to me, as they're are not fighters. Heck I don't think they have a single weapon (tho Heatwave is supposed to have an axe but that's it). Plus these guys would be better suited for slowly introducing humans to giant mechs than bringing them to the battlefield. Not everything has to be about the war after all.

And Optimus keeping their exsistance a secret is a way to keep them safe. If the 'Cons did find the Rescue Bots, I'm pretty sure it would be a one-sided fight.

Heatwave has an axe like TFA Optimus had an axe. It's not a weapon; it's a tool. TFP/RB Prime wants to make sure that Heatwave never has to modify its primary function like TFA OP was forced to...

Man what is with Hasbro pushing Aligned Continuity when it doesn't work anyway?

I don't think the "aligned continuity" thing can really work over such different media like novels, TV, and video games. (That last one I never understood. Never played WFC, but aren't there 2 different endings?)

That said, I can see two TV shows on the same channel airing new episodes on the same day geared for two distinctly different audiences and having two completely separate storylines that in no way conflict with one another can be said to exist in the same over all continuity, especially if that "connection" leads to audience crossover in both media and the toylines.

I was meaning as something that would be the closest to a weapon. I know it's meant to be a tool, but if a fight with the 'Cons did happen (not likely in this show), he's the only one that kinda has a weapon.

And WfC only had one ending.

But aren't the Rescue Bots fairly present among the civilians and helping them out? While the Prime Team is always told (by Prime) to stay hidden and in "stealth mode"? I dunno... same universe different continuity? I really don't see how they can merge the two story lines, but we'll watch both shows (I have really young kids and they'll love RB, and my 7 year old likes Prime ok, but it does not capture my 3 year old at all, RB just might - but they both agree on Beast Wars) I still want a Beast War movie... though had I been there to see TF: Prime on a big screen... that would have been a treat too. It just doesn't seem like "movie material" though.

The human populace thinks the Rescue Bots are human built robots that aren't sentient. Which Heatwave despises, doesn't like pretending to be "tin cans".

Yes the mystery is solved and you were right.

I guess, tfwiki is sometimes right.

    Its really dollars and cents.

I'm not very optimistic on the continuity; they are very different.

So I wonder if this means that if they ever made a Generations cartoon, that it would be a part of the aligned continuity too?

    This.

I wonder if they know what 'continuity' means.

Ok, I'm guessing that the ONLY reason to complicate the story this way is to mesh it a little better with the general Primeniverse. But, I haven't seen this show.

That might count as what Hasbro is calling a "squint test."

Isn't it possible the Rescue Bots showed up *after* the season-opener?

Also, for those of you pointing out the visual differences between shows, have we forgotten Batman: the Animated Series and the New Batman Adventures and the substantially different style each show had, despite one being a continuation of the other?

Seriously guys, it's not that bizarre. Now a crossover between two shows aimed at completely different demographics, that'd be even more bizarre a cross-over than Punisher meets Archie.
