Paints Used - Black Gloss Acrylic - Blue Gloss Acrylic - Gold Metallic Acrylic - Green Gloss Acrylic - Lt Green (mix of green gloss and yellow gloss) - Purple Gloss Acrylic - Red Gloss Acrylic - Teal Gloss Acrylic - Brass Enamel - Flat Steel Enamel - Gloss Grape Enamel - Metallic Copper Enamel After slaving away for what seemed like an entire month this is probably the most invested I've put into a figure in terms of paint and careful management. While there are some flaws I've gone out of my way to make this figure look like it came literally out of the factory, I think this is my best attempt so far........ and all that talent is wasted away on one of the most pointless redecos ever put on a Seeker. You just gotta love the early 90s, and its wacky color schemes. Of course its takes an insane mind to produce such an insane figure and here is his 2012 incarnation. Yes the world has official come to an end and I've brought you once again into the candy colored hell that is Generation 2 reborn. True, but I'm not that talented. I just like the color scheme because of how offensive it is to a lot of people. I think its kinda funny in a sense.
First off - nice job on the paints. Looks very G2. Having trouble following how he's an action master f he transforms though. Entirely possible I'm missing something though as I wasn't a fan of G2.
Agreed, he looks awesome! If I remember correctly, Action Masters were late G1, and, for some reason, Hasbro just seemed to think it was a good idea to give Thundercracker's Action Master toy a painfully bright color scheme that would have fit right in with G2.
and yet this is the third time I painted up a Seeker into this color scheme, still need to grab a hold of the FE and FOC versions.
And that's why I have three different figures with that exact color scheme, except more wacky and insane. Still not as terrible as pinata Brawl from that HFTD multi-pack. He would have made a perfect mascot for Taco Bell.
I just remembered that I had a second version of this figure. I was thinking about doing it in a G2 Ramjet color scheme. Gonna have to be very creative on that one.
