Springer could do with improved ankles.
VW bee is one of the smallest deluxe figure, and with the bulky VW Beetle design for such a small character, it really doesn't leave much choices for the backpack. I honestly would've much rather it be easy to remove the backpack for bot mode, but a lot of people throw a fit over "parts forming" so whatever. Compacting the backpack like the Transcraft figure would just mean smaller parts to be broken
I like that they put sneakers on Bumblebee.
That Bee is a really nice deco and the mold is cool but it just doesn't feel like movie Bee. The proportions are all wrong. I get that there's probably not much else they could do at this scale but I think they could do better if they approached the transformation completely differently. Ultimately this still seems to borrow from the engineering of the other Bee toys.... I could be wrong though, I haven't handled mine all that much.
I don't feel the need to rush out and buy either of these. With the focus on uniformity across both regions/companies and the increased level of paint and show accuracy for domestic releases, these would have to be absolutely slathered in extra details for me to justify them.
And if I want extra details, Toyhax usually provides stickers for those toys. And hell, Hasbro is now releasing Black Zarak at standard US retail, when in the past he would have been import-only at a 50% markup
So yeah...nice idea, but doesn't compare to the old LG line.
kinda with ya... nothing about this is feeling particularly "premium" the way the LG, Movie the Best and United releases did.
Big swing and a miss here with Optimus. I love this mold and am not sick of it, unlike many others. But if you're going to do premium paint apps, let's skip the battle damage, especially those cheeky white scribbles (I mean cracks) on his windshields. At this point it needs to be a different "character" as a repaint or a "perfect" Optimus and this is neither (and it's expensive). What a shame.
This “premium finish” line is meant to take the base toys and repaint them to be more source accurate. And that’s just what they did with Optimus, they painted him to look more like he does on the Netflix show. So they did that right
The pictures of Bumblebee don't give me any feeling of being premium, to be honest.
Isn't this "premium finish" how they should have painted them in the first place?.
Still looks ugly. Probably just the yellow plastic being hard to foto though.
I mean, that's literally the point of this line. It's even in the name
Premium paint for a premium price.
If you just want the mold, it's probably cheaper to just get the SS release.
Good point. My bad for not reading the description more accurately. All these WFC names blur together for me until someone says "the Netflix show" and it makes more sense.
He definitely looks good but I wish we were getting a premium earthrise Optimus.
Best deco on Siege Prime is still the cel-shaded one, and that's coming from someone who's not a fan of that style usually.
Bumblebee looks neat, I just think it's kind of a waste one a toy this inaccurate to the film. If I collected movie stuff I'd still keep holding out for a 2018 Bumblebee 2.0.
looks like his cartoon accurate from Netflix siege.
Premium Finish? Pay more for a better looking figure??
WHY the F did you pick THOSE two?!?!?!
What does this say about the none premium finish toys?
Separate names with a comma.
