That's great news all around.
I too was an active member on the transformers peru forums and met lot of great people in there, really a wonderful community, I lost contact with them because after the bad taste of ROTF I lost some interest on transformers.
Muchas felicidades porque al menos a mi parecer ustedes son la organizacion de tfs mas importante de america latina.
Amazing!!!, I'm Peruvian and Transformers became such a hit when first came to Peru, toys were too expensive, reason why I can't stop buying Transformers toys now living in the US. it Feels awesome the these guys put so much effort to make Transformers in a high place, they should be invited to Botcom and bring more toys to Peru. Another reason why I need to pay a visit. very proud to be Peruvian!!
That's awesome, folks! You have a lot to be proud of. Looks like y'all organized an amazing event.
Hello man, which was you user's name on the transformersperu forum? I am Black Convoy there. Hope you can come back!
Wowsas! Lots of cool things have been happening in Peru! It's good to hear DOTM has had such a grand opening over there and that you got to be a part of it all, N-B! You lucky guy!
The same, dropshot.
Platicaba mucho con Meggy, Starshot, Lylat y otros que no recuerdo sus nicks.
Thanks for all your nice comments! A great update! If you buy about $18 in DOTM products in local stores you get a ticket and a chance to win a Chevy Spark like DOTM Skids:
I love the design for your logo. It's an awesome way to show both Decepticon and Autobot symbols!
Well guys, updating this great post here you are some of the last activities we had in the last months of 2011:
Transformers Peru at the Otakufest 2011
The Otakufest is by far the most important and massive anime and comic convention here in Peru, as you should imagine we were invited and we had an important participation with displays, an exposition and conversatory about DOTM and the most important the presentation of our member Eddy Mendoza and his simply AWESOME Optimus Prime Cosplay:

Transformers Peru presenting DOTM Suite at the Double Tree-Hilton Hotel
This was maybe our most important official and sponsored presentation. As you could see in previous pictures Hilton hotels here wanted to promote its DOTM room and they asked us to prepare a big presentation for it at the Doulbe Tree Hilton Hotel in Miraflores, Lima, Peru.
We had a great room and had an event of 8 hours, where we had presentations, videos of old and new series, displays and much more! and of course a great video presenting the DOTM suite in the Paracas Hotel where some of our staff members could go and stay for one day! It may be the first and only time in my life I could stay in a hotel like this:

Transformers Peru at the Mega Plaza mall
This was our last event, we were invited to the Mega Plaza Mall in the north part of our city. This part of our city has got most of our inhabitants and Mega Plaza is one of the biggest and most impressive malls in all Peru. We had full of support from them and we had displays, drwaing contest for kids and one more time our Optimus Prime was the main attraction. This time we had hundreds of kids happy with our presentation.

Thanks for your time guys!
Sweet, Peru got it's own Botcon.
I am consistently amazed by the passion and skill of the Peruvian Transfandom, especially for a segment of the fandom I hadn't even heard of before last year. You guys are doing amazing things, and please keep it up, because you are making us ALL look good.
I'm also amazed by the great relationship you guys seem to have with Hasbro, and how unique it is in many respects, alongside the ways that we in North America are familiar with. I'd love it if you could go into more detail about how legal organization registration works in Peru (more why than how) and how this has allowed you guys to build a relationship with Hasbro. Are there other transformers fan groups in Peru? Do you find the Peruvian community is more or less like the one on TFW?
Vayo con Primus, guys!
Thanks a lot for your comment Aernaroth. We have existed since 2003, we have always been working for our local fandom and we have benn constantly growing and improving our experiences.
Last eyars where the ones where we got more people who wanted to work and do bigger things. Our local fandom is ahrd to unite since many people can't believe they could find an active transformes community. Our Facebook page started with 30 members and thanks to the movies and constant work we have got more than 1400 fans right now.
Our realtionship with Hasbro starts formally 3 years ago, first similar to what 3H enterprises did, we needed legal recognition. Since we have no money to even star a company here, we did somethign very smart. Here in peru we registered as a cultural and social asociation, free of economical benefits, so we are legally recognized by Peruvian law.
We always looked for Hasbro's support, but it was hard, our relationship starts to be closer whne the new representatives selected were younger people. They were really nice people. They helps us when they can, with small things like banners or products and we are allowed to show his trademarks in all our events. Sometimes we would like them to be more involved in our events since after all it's free and great promotion for them but we know companies here in Peru have got their own priorities.
Anyway we are always presenting our proyects and events to them.
Here in Peru we are lucky to be able to have regular meetings with our local fans since most of them live in Lima and we meet each other personally most of the time, and it's fun when someone who has been in one of our presentations calls you when you are on the street, sometimes I feel like a star! he he he.
On the other hand, we do have some very talented and well-versed people here, but most of our fans only know a bit about all the rich Transformers History. Most fans here know only G1 or just the movies. Our goal is to help them discover and learn all the rich Transformers Mythology and multiverse.
And of course, our best supporters are our local fans, I am still amazed at the Optimus prime disguise one of our local fasn made. As you cans ee in the pictures is great and big and it ahs got lights and sounds too and of course he can MOVE!
