Wait, so this existed? Can we like, SEE it someday as well? I cannot find anything anywhere, even in chinese.
I'd love to see it someday. The best part is fits perfectly in our canon since "all the Earth stuff" was off screen between seasons 1 and 2. Kinda wild it promises 52 episodes, almost as long as actual Cyberverse.
Concept art exists, but I don't think there's any proof that the show was actually produced. I think it's more likely that it's vaporware than lost media.
I might not have liked the idea of this show but I think the design for Léizhènzǐ was pretty cool! Really wouldn't mind seeing it in a version of Legacy lol Also he has a Legends Class/Legion Class figure, unknown if ever released but a packaged sample was leaked once. He was in a three pack with a same sized Nezha and Tu Xingsun (the yellow construction vehicle). Also, this Léizhènzǐ figure was a retool of the old Cyberverse Knockout mold, and shares a similar transformation.
Just cybervers with Chinese influence? There is a 4 letter term that we all know that was involved...
I think he means 3 letters. Anyway, the whole cartoon was a partnership effectively with the Chinese Communist Party from the start so I doubt there'd be any censorship concerns. It's probably more likely that Hasbro's cutting back with its media companies killed this.
This was due out years ago. We got the first info pre-pandemic, so it feels more likely to me that Covid killed it. There was at least one finished trailer that we saw. And there were screenshots and prototype toys of the new characters. It was pretty far along to disappear, but Covid killed a lot of things. -ZacWilliam, It feels like we certainly would have seen *something* more by now if it proceeded...

I’m guessing a fish, due to the little fin on her head. Maybe the newly discovered Aphrodite fish? Newly Discovered Neon Fish Species Is Named After Greek Goddess of Love | Smart News| Smithsonian Magazine
Those Taiwanese face masks Hasbro licensed aren't gonna give China any reason to bring this back then.
I have seen a trailer somewhere, I am quite sure, with some purple femmebot villainess. EDIT: yep here it is. If they made this, and it seems to be clips from the show, then surely some episodes exist too. Pretty sure she turns into a goldfish
Maybe, maybe not. The animation could have been from a produced pilot, or they could have animated to the trailer directly, just like what happens with many video games when they're early in production. It's a reasonable conclusion that at least part of an episode was made, but anything beyond that is an assumption. I think if any more of the show existed, we'd have seen it by now.
I know nobody cares but apparently these are the official altmodes of the characters other than Nezha: Xiaolongnu - robotic fish Lei Zhenzi - tuned-up "JDM-style" car Tu Xingsun - mining vehicle with drill (In case you don't know, Xiaolongnu is the pink fembot in the concept art, Lei Zhenzi is the robot with some super sick hairstyle and Tu Xingsun is the yellow chunky bot.)
