I'm really going for a number of different mecha anime vibes. I even designed the mecha to evoke the Knightmare Frames of Geass. Admittedly, the Blue Jay was a semi-inspiration for this. Well, while that may be in Prime Miko's level of intelligence, Nexus Miko is another person altogether. True they share some traits, but Nexus Miko has a bit more common sense than Prime Miko. That, and now she has a giant freaking robot that she can pilot despite not even training due to... sync ratios... *Signal pops up saying the button is out of order.* a.
