    Year, looks cool.

Well...whenever new product news comes, some guys want to say "pass" "If Hasbro~" "price~"-like writings...

What RodimusDawg just posted, really - simply not different enough.

Having been looking at the images some more (mainly trying to convince myself that it must be an improvement, somehow) - amusing that they're hiding the truck mode somewhat too. It looks a bit of a mess, tbh... look how much there is lurking behind the cab, those leg parts are seriously chunky!

Shame. Overall, I think it looks no better or worse in either mode than MP-1 - it's just a bit different. The articulation does look awesome, as it should be, but articulation on its own isn't enough. The trailer & Roller look good, but unremarkable, and I can't summon any enthusiasm for a Spike action figure.

Ah well, not for me! Still, if it signals a revamp of the MP line, hopefully we'll get an excellent Megatron out of it fairly soon.

And I still hold out for a decent Galvatron...

The truck mode is a slight improvement over the original MP Prime, but it just doesn't cut it. It's nowhere near as realistic as Movie Leader Prime.

Fuck the knockoff and fuck MP-01. I'll be picking this one up and never touching those again. Looks spectacular.

I was holding off getting the igear Prime until I'd seen pics of this. I'm not bothered about the trailer or Spike since I display all my TFs in robot mode, but I do kinda like this new design. His arms look too long and his legs too short though, but it's the price which is really holding me back. I can get 2 igear Primes for one of these (not that I want 2 but you know what I mean), plus the igear Prime looks to be slightly smaller and will probably fit in better with my classics scalewise. Umm, decisions, decisions!

There's something about that robot mode that I just can't get on board with.
There's some really nice articulation, and really nice deco (ie, more chrome). I really like the way the waist works without hinged flaps.
BUT, the shoulders are too big, looks like an ape. The legs have a nasty wide bit on the sides, and he has very large feet. His headsculpt is really nice, but some of the photos look to be a bit of a pinhead. I hate that the gun hinges in the middle too. Just put it in the trailer dammit!
    I'll stick to MP-04 thanks.

The captions on the pictures are the best part. "Convoy gun is housed within backside".
Then in battle when he needs it, he can pull a gun out of his ass.

Personally, I think it's a HUGE improvement over the old MP (which I already thought was brilliant).
I really think this IS the PERFECT Prime.

But that price. To me, there's no justification. And the Trailer really, REALLY should be optional. I would much rather pay significantly less for just the figure. I have never had any interest in any of Prime's trailers for any of my collection. They're neat, sure, but not appealing as display pieces.

The only cheat I see is his grill chest, but it's almost a standard thing, by now.

Looks very nice; the truck cab is especially impressive. I should probably look into selling my MP-04.

it's a good looking Prime, but I prefer the MP-01/04.
    $250 is way overpriced IMO.

I really don't like it at all. The grill on the stomach area looks ridiculous as does the faux bumper pelvis. Plus his proportions look terrible. About the only improvements are the truck mode, the hands and the fact it comes with a decent trailer. Everything else about he figure just looks inferior to the original.

I'll probably pick it up...but I wouldn't call it better than the original MP Prime.
MP Prime has perfect proportions and a fairly easy transformation, and still looks pretty good in truck mode.
This new MP looks okay in robot mode, but the arms and legs are kinda ape-like, as others have pointed out. I love the new headsculpt though...and I think the front of the truck looks very nice, but the wheels are very thin as you can see on his robot legs, and the rear of the truck is very tall and thick (not a good thing?)
I'm thinking the transformation will be harder, and it probably won't have any diecast, and it's smaller, and it's more expensive...so, while I'll probably buy it – I wouldn't call it much of an improvement over the original. The thumbs don't look like they move either.

At the current exchange rate this would cost me the equivalent of £150 plus shipping and possible customs charges and I don't need a trailer as I'd never display it.

Faith Leader cost me approx £80 shipped........iGear win.

I might get this when Hasbro brings it out -which will be never.
There's no way I would spend the money to import it.
I don't really think it looks better than the original mold.
They still can't figure out what to do with the side windows in vehicle form.
