SS Prime will most likely get retooled into his DOTM body style, hopefully the paint job will be better on that one. And please Hasbro, painted wheels.....please....

If there was an in hand image of Blackout, I'd go crazy. Video review, even better.

Just looking at all those early Ebay figures, Just feels so tempting, but I think I'll wait. But if it were Blackout, that's a different story.

I don’t get these studio figures. Not just the fact that I think the Movies are crap (except the 3rd one). Also I think the movie designs are aweful and they don’t really look any different to me then the movie toys still peg warming my area. So why does Hasbro think these things will sell any better than what is already clogging pegs now? Am I missing something? Hell what collect (any generations line) seems to be selling better in my area than animated or movie themed toys.

Which UK stores will stock these. The only time I've found loads of desirable Transformers figures for sale was during ROTF.
I just can't find anything decent near me for years, I'm sick of online shopping.
Now Toys R Us is closing.

    Ebay:
The first movie came out a little over ten years ago in 2007. The fans of that movie are starting to grow up into adults with more disposable income, who would be attracted to a line that has a ton of several needed updates to characters who were only given terrible figures. A perfect market for hasbro

Well I don't get YOU even being IN this thread. Nothing better to do after collecting the same versions of characters from 1984? I would have given you a real answer if your comment hadn't been insulting AF.

You can tell yourself that you are buying the takara version which tends to be twice the price and technically is the takara version (takara and hasbro now have the same decos).

It makes no difference. Takara version and the Hasbro version are going to be the same. Takara and Hasbro worked out a deal where they will release the same deco.

    Exactly.

@Lazerwave Either way, Hasbro or Takara, you need to wait until the moment he's released to pull the trigger and buy him, but i also wouldn't wait so much, because:

1.-He won't have lower cost after that
2.-He will be sold out in most of the retailers.

I know, I'm glad I already preordered mine. Someone (I'm not saying who) tried to prank me in to thinking Blackout will not be restocked just to see my reaction, but I told him I already got the preorder and his reaction was priceless. But back to my point, I already preordered a few Studio Series. But I hope to find a Walmart that will break release date. I also tend to keep one in box for value grow and another one to give to this year's Christmas Toy Drive.

Maybe half of a brain? If you can't comprehend the fact that some people like things that you don't like or people have differing opinions, I'd seriously consider finding it.

This fluctuates. There are times the movie toys sell better than Generations and there are times Generations sells better. Actually, not a long while ago, the movie merchanding was bringing in most of the money.
