Posted at another site was a link to a (supposedly) February 28th revision of the Transformers script, dubbed Prime Directive.

Keep in mind shooting did not start until May, which means a number of changes could have been made and this will, undoubtedly have spoilers for the film itself
Also note this is a PDF file

I will not post a link to the script unless the staff okays it

As I've said earlier, I really hope Starscream is more fleshed out in the latest revisions of this script. His character feels completely absent in this script, never opposing Megatron even once. The new brother angle between Optimus and Megatron is interesting, but ultimately pointless since it isn't Optimus that puts an end to Megatron, but rather the kid. Feels like a missed opportunity for what could have been a powerful moment. Not to mention the fact that I'm paying to see Optimus vs. Megatron to the death, not some wimpy kill that's akin to Godzilla going down to a couple measely missiles in the American Godzilla film.

The rampant product placement is pretty hilarious. Perhaps unintentional commentary on the G1 cartoon?

    Anyway... http://tf2007.ytmnd.com/

Now that's what I call a Megatron line. Nice one.

Sounds way better than the Droning "Noooooo" of the stuck in the 80's crew claims it will be....

Color me excited, and hopefully smug when the film is successful despite the MINORITY's narrow views.

    I'm SO tempted,in fact I saved it.

But right now I'm AVOIDING reading that.I don't want to risk spoiling the movie before I see it.

    I know it's old,but I have no idea what's been changed and what hasn't

    I have two words.

    HOLY SHIT!!!

Ok, maybe more than two words.

The action in this movie is going to be INSANE - the only niggle I have with it at this point is the lack of characterization with the Decepticons, they really need to be fleshed out better, actually the Autobots could use a few more lines as well. But what I get from this is Optimus is heavily based on the G1 version, Ironhide is a total badass, and Ratchet is a bit of a nerd. Jazz needs more lines, and needs to be fleshed out as a character more, especially given what happens to him.

I can even deal with mute-bee given the way it's handled, I thought I'd hate it, but they pulled it off rather well.

If they flesh out the Transformers just a little bit more, this will be the most awesome action movie EVER.

Something IMPORTANT to point out is the script is from February

They didn't start shooting until May and a lot of the "robot" stuff likely isn't even done yet, so I for one am not going to get too upity about some of this yet (though I enjoyed the script VERY much).

(Btw, SuperMegs gave the okay to post the link, if Tony or any other mods feel it necessary to remove the link, it is their decision)

I just got done reading it, and I think it's a pretty good summer popcorn movie. Great? No. But in terms of 'boy saves the world, gets the girl stories,' not bad. And the action should be teh hawtness!

I'll avoid the script if I can help it. I haven't exactly kept away from info and spoilers about the film, but the only thing worse than knowing some info is knowing all of it.

On page 58, this is awesome. Bumblebee is so cool and at least in this version the way the radio voice is handled is really cute and funny. I like it, plus the tunes they have written are more classic... At least thank god it doesnt look like he'll be playing DMX or In da Club while he runs over things.

I think the radio thing would be fine for a while but it shouldn't be a permanant thing.

Well he does actually speak near the end. I like how he can speak, but it's very painful due to an injury he got in an old battle.

Yeah - that's the biggest plot hole there.

I actually LIKE 'Soundwave', he'll work nicely for Frenzy - although they need more dialog in English.

    However they can manage it.

Well. I read the script, too, and instead of making a long essay-like post that's probably gonna be the same opinion as everyone else, I'll just voice ONE opinion:

I hope the Decepticons speak English in the movie. I don't see any merits to the subtitles. It detracts from an actor's performance. It detracts from the character. It makes them seem that much closer to the Predator. With such limited screentime, such different looks from what we're used to, and so FEW lines, pretty much the most important aspect of the characters now is their voice.

    Did Vortex/Blackout/helicopter guy even speak???
