Don Murphy has posted another progress update about the Transformers Live Action Film on his message board: - the film is location scouting in Canada, the American Southwest, and Northeast. Not in Vancouver (for that tool who insisted we were). No I am not going to tell you where we are scouting. It won't matter until locations are locked. - design preliminaries are going full steam ahead at last. No, there's nothing to show you yet. - the latest redraft proceeds apace. Many changes to the second half I believe. Scaling back the number on each side probably back to the original 5 or 6 after they increased in number. Should have something this week or early next. People are back in town and TF is a priority for myself, for Tommy D and for Hasbro and Dreamworks.
My friend and I agree that Mt Washington should be lookout mountain. It already has the research center on top, it's perfect!
DUDE! We could get in as Extras! I'm glad to see some information comming out of them working on it. Haven't heard much about the movie lately, glad to see that there's some new info that Murohy is putting out now.
I wonder if we'll ever see a teaser poster in the coming months? Usually they shove them out there before the flim is even...well...started filming yet.
Taking into consideration how the mindset of a number of TF fans works, something in the strictest of confidence and utmost secrecy will be shared with someone, and then that person'll start thinking with their e-penis and how much their TF board of preference should be the no.1 board EVAR, so it'll be leaked there, and many people will hate it, and many people will love it, and many people will love it but hate the ones who allowed it to be leaked, and many will hate those who hate it being leaked, and a bunch of boards will support the leakage, and a bunch of boards will not, and things will get really ugly for a time, and then someone or ones offical will step in and say something, and then for the good of the fandom this ugly incident will be put behind us, for the good of the fandom, till all are one yadda yadda yadda et cetera. Personally, I hope concept designs, sfx test footage and so forth stays under wraps until the respective marketing departments decide to start releasing info. But that's just me
