Here's a fun little thread idea that's been done many times before, but I think will help bring together both supporters and detractors of this new film.

Here's the set-up:

Transformers: Dark of the Moon was released, and is over and done with. Wanting to take the franchise in a fresh, new direction, Hasbro selects one random fan to make all of the executive and final decisions for their Transformers Cinematic Reboot that they have planned. You end up being that fan.

~ Who will you choose as the new Director?
~ New Writer?
~ Composer?
~ How many Transformers would be in the movie and who would they be?
~ What voice actors would you utilize?
~ What would the movie be about?
~ What design influences would your version of the cinematic Transformers primarily take from?

Money is not an issue.

Be as specific or simple as you want to be. I'm dying to see what you guys come up with.

 

Eh, I'd probably:
- set it in the 1980s
- have more robots than humans
- feature less flashy alternate modes
- have "clean" humour
- have a big battle with major casualites, but no fatalities
- have the Cons leave but swearing vengeance
