I actually would like to think some Autobots turned in to Maximals(I know there are some but most of thats toy bios I think) but Ravage and Bee look pretty cool in this(I just hope Bee doesn't kill him after the arrest, it'd be ROTF all over again)
Goldbug as a Maximal? Interesting. And Ravage made a appearance in the Beast Wars 3-parter episode "The Agenda".
It's quite obvious that he is. The yellow pieces on his chest have bug eyes and small antennae, he has some bug legs on his shoulders, there are blue wings on his back, it is quite clear that Goldbug is a bug. More specifically, a bumblebee. Lolfish. Nice piece, I can hear Ravage's Russian accent as I read his lines, and Goldbug/Bumblebee/Herpty Derp is awesome! I made four typos while typing this post. Huh.
I always thought that the Waspinator mold (particularly in its Buzzsaw colors) was perfect for a BW-BumbleBee. In fact, I'm pretty sure the Hasbro team probably designed him as such before they had the concepts of the series figure out. Nice to see someone finally do it in fiction! Cool story, fun art, I liked it!
Not on Cybertron. None of the Axalon or Darksyde crews (or Depth Charge once her arrived) had animal forms because they only exist on earth. Tom
A- I see bug-eyes and bug-wings in the art, so I don't see why people are questioning if he's a bug... B- Yup FP canonized that BW-characters had Vehiform-modes pre-Earth, but there's plenty o' canon out there that suggests TF's can and do have animal-like modes without ever having anything to do with Earth. Mirage was huntin' Turbofoxes for sport and Kup was huntin' Petrorabbits for grub LONG before the Axalon or the Ark ever got near this little mud ball. D/L
I'm not digging the lettering in the text balloons, but other than that, I think this is a good, solid piece
