This is the flying medical repair vehicle was used by Ratchet , Drift and Pipes during their little IDW adventure! Apparently able to detect lifeforms and patch them up if need be, this model has been sized to fit most deluxe figures.

Here's a MARB lets Ratchet whizz around in style, with its computer near Ratchet's right foot helping to detect friendly life signals.

A clear display stand gives this piece the illusion or hovering! Or a 5mm pipe would do the same too. Marb-03.jpg

The magic behind how they hover lie in these "hover thrusters" which are positioned on the bottom of the vehicle?

Separated into 6 parts for easy 3d printing and painting, this should be a relatively simple model to 3d print and put together.

Also reminds me of the similar version Rhinox used in Optimus Prime in Beast Wars.

For everyone checking this out, I highly suggest looking at the Patreon page in Rusticon's sig. I've noticed their stuff on Thingiverse already and have been planning on printing it out. There's even more on the Patreon and I think the contributions to the community are easily worth supporting.

    Looks great!

But I always wondered why they went with such a boring acronym as M.A.R.B.

Was Roberts the first person to actually name this thing?

Yeah, but the TFwiki doesn't actually specify that it was NAMED in Transformers #8. I had to actually go back to my copy and look for this:

    MARB.JPG

    It's still a dumb acronym.

Oh, might have missed that conversation but sounds like something they would have said :p  I recall MARBs more from the Lost Light adventures ... :D

Think it was around 10 hours in total if I add up all the separate parts! May vary depending on your print settings too, of course.

Oh, was there that? Gonna have to re-watch BW then perhaps... :p

Thank you all kindly! It's always awesome to be able to do up accessories, add-ons and useful models for Transformers and then sharing with all ya great folks out there... (guess a 3d printer is kinda space bridge-ish in that regard)

Have a few more in the works so stay tuned! :)

Well, technically, it's probably not meant to be used that way by a regular Autobot, but as the Maximals were a lot smaller than the Autobots...
