The Conehead seeker everyone likes and couldn't wait to see once Ramjet was teased, THRUST. Big thanks to Toy Dojo for filling those preorders as quickly as they did! The guy always takes care of his customers! Alright, onto the review! Transformation: It isn't anything new if you own any of the previous seekers. Thrust sports some minor changes to the wing hinge; in most seekers, the wings flip up but Thrust's flip down. Also, Thrust's weapons fold in half! How cool is that! Assembly: Thrust doesn't have Ramjet's shoulder issue; however, my copy could be an anomaly. I would suggest checking your figure immediately. Joint Tightness: I would say Thrust is similar to Ramjet, the legs slide in and out easily. However, the leg slide doesn't hinder the figure's poseability. Jet Comparisons: The Seeker mold is an old one, whether you started with the original Green Scream or jumped on with Ramjet, the mold just keeps going! What do you guys think? Is it time to retire ? Fun Factor: It's Thrust! How can you not have fun! Purchase: I'm surprised so many people are comparing Toyworld's jet to Takara's Thrust. Is Toyworld's jet a great looking figure? Sure it is, no question. Is it Thrust? Nope... not by a long shot. Takara's Masterpiece line continues to improve and their jets are so accurate its hard to argue against it. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, Thrust is a fantastic representation of the G1 Toon character.
