Not sure if anyone subscribed to loot crate, but they just announced June's theme. It's is transform. I received an email hinting about some the items included and I will upload a screenshot of the email once I get phot bucket to cooperate.

Screenshot of the email address from my mobile.

Image similar to that posted below (note the exclusive tshirt). This doesn't confirm a Transformers shirt but odd are it will if past crates are any hint.

Looking at past boxes from their site, it's not my cuppa tea, but I think there's gonna be some happy TF fans this month, if the theme holds true.

Cool, I think I'll give it a shot. Hopefully it's better than the $30 Nerd Block a couple months back, which advertised Transformers, but ended up with just that Kreon 4-pack, which contained stuff I already had, and some random stuff I didn't really care about (Bravest Warriors, Rabbids...)

Thank you for posting the source. Photo bucket app doesn't allow me to copy the link. I'll still update the first post when I get home I'm a bit.

It's worth noting that although transform is the theme, that doesn't mean it will all be Transformers items. The mega crate shows wii u items and other non tf items. Just don't want to misinform anyone. I'm guess a t-shirt and something else like a small figurine.

True. I've seen unboxings and they do mix it up for each month. Although at less than $17 for the month with a coupon, it's a much better risk/deal than Nerd Block to me. I'll be happy if it includes a cool shirt and maybe one of the small vinyl figures. Anything else will be bonus. :)

This month is another T-Shirt. They have been partnering with companies to offer exclusive items.

I was just coming to post this.

Anyways, they are a lot of fun to get in the mail. The shirts are always badass. I've been subbed all year and have greatly enjoyed every box.

And a bit of a self plug - here's my recruiting link: Loot Crate - Monthly Geek and Gamer Subscription Box

    Thanks,

I was super excited when I saw the announcement, couldn't wait to get the news out! Sure, we could be majorly disappointed but I agree with you, the T-shirt is likely Transformers at least!

My thoughts exactly, I'm hoping on some exclusive transforming figure but I know, it's only $20 so that is unlikely :(  but a cool Shirt (loved that Zelda one) and maybe some exclusive vinyl figure and I'll still be a happy camper!

Usually have to get your order in a few days before the 20th of the month. That is the day they usually ship out. I recommend getting our order in at least 2 days ahead or sign up for the sub and don't worry about it. Check the lootcrate site for more info.

Yeah from what I understand they only ship out once, en masse. By the time everyone gets their orders and sees what's inside it's too late to put a new order in for that month.

Oh and again, METROPLEX SDCC version in the megacrate!! Now to win that, though, I think I'll need a little energon... And a lot of luck.

It is sometimes possible to order past crates but last months, for example, sold out before the official cut off date for orders...

So yeah, either a risk now to lay down cash on something totally unknown of the risk of losing out on something that could be cool. A tough one!

For info, I'm looking into getting a few crates this time round, I want to keep a shirt pristine if I like it and wear one with pride and as there are usually variants in the gifts, I'd like to try to get a few different of whatever figures they are.

I'm so tempted to try it out but I hope the transforming bus is not just a repaint of the one in this review.

Lootcrate sounds like it could be fun, but I'm on too tight of a budget to spend $20 a month on a grab bag.

Plus, if a toy company wants me to review their stuff, they can send it to me for free.

I've been looking for that bus EVERYWHERE. If anyone has it, I'll buy it from you in a second, and make it worth your while!

I understand, and I'm on a per month basis as yeah, some of the stuff is not going to appeal to me.

also, sure, if toy companies are wanting to give toys away for free, I'm all for that!
