Too much hassle, finding actors, shooting, etc. Much easier with cartoons, CGI or 2D. Cartoons are sometimes better than live action series or movies. (Animated, Beast Wars, Avatar the Last Airbender the show, Spectacular Spiderman, and plenty others).

Oooh, a TV show. No, I think that would end up being crap.

I have a feeling that if it did happen, the transformers would probably just be people in costumes like the megazords in power rangers.

Power rangers is the most cheesy modern TV show ever.

What it would end up being is the Sam Witwicky Show, starring Sam, his girlfriend, and his Camaro, which transforms once every three episodes. Oh, and you only ever see Bumblebee from the ankles down. No thanks.

No thanks, TF: Prime does a decent job of filling that niche.

Make the focus a small unit of Autobots and NEST soldiers (main characters being Lennox and Epps) who journey around the world hunting down Decepticon stragglers, and I'd be kinda sold. A TV series unfolding over the course of several episodes could be the ideal medium to introduce the character development that the films so desperately lacked.

I've dreamt of one ever since I say the first film. I even wanted to role play them with my toys and the lego figures as the humans.
