Hiya all!

I was so happy a week ago when Los Leones de Caracas (Caracas Lions, the baseball team from my hometown) won the fifth game from the final against the Tigers and were crowned Venezuela's Professional (Winter) Baseball League's champions for the 16th time, that I decided to do a display with all my TF Lions. I ended up adding some other lion-themed toys as well.

Well, tonight, Los Leones won also their 6th game in a row in The Caribbean Series against Los Tigres de Licey from the Dominican Republic and were crowned caribbean champions for the second time!

So, in celebration I decided to share with you a couple of pics from my TF lions display. This is not my full collection, but sometime I'll display it and take pictures of it.





For those of you still reading, the Caribbean Series is a baseball championship played in a round robin format, with the champions from the winter leagues of Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Venezuela. It's been played yearly since 1949, with a 9 year gap fron 1961 to 1969 when Cuba retired from the series because profesional sports were outlawed in Cuba.

Pepsi Convoy with a different Pepsi Bottle

Here are some pics I took of my Pepsi Convoy holding a Pepsi Light bottle that I think fits the trailer perfectly because of the color.

ive often thought about all the transformable lions myself. thanks for taking a pic! By the way, I guess im not too familiar with later beast wars.....but who is that yellow lion next to leo convoy? is that just a yellow leo convoy?

Yep. It's a chinese KO Lioconvoy I found here in Caracas. It's pretty crappy actually, if you transform it, it doesn't hold well. But I like the colors: yellow, brown, gray and silver.

Airfox is my Steel Brigade code name.  

I have the same Steel Brigade figure as my avatar in most forums and in Skype and Yahoo Messenger (but there, the figure is wearing a Leones shirt!)

What is the smaller Prime? Didn't know about one that size...

 

That's from the Transformers Jr. 3-pack. It came packaged with a Chromedome and a Fortress Maximus (all were the same height).

It's a japanese item, but it wasn't produced by Takara. I do think they were licensed though.

Let me see if I can find them in Google.... got it!

That's pretty sweet! There's a lion Battle Beast you should track down to add to that, it'd fit in great. And I love that Lione!

 

After handling all of them 2 weeks ago, I'd say I have to go with the original Victory Leo (Transformers wise) as well.

Taking into account all the other non-TF lions, it's a tie between Victory Leo and Saint Seiya's Myth Cloth Aioria Leo's figure.

P.S.: thanks for the info Orodruin. Now I'll have to track down that Battle Beast lion.
