I'm thinking it was at Hasbro's request since I'm quite sure Takara has been eating a lot of their lunch lately with better quality figures. So separating Sixhot by a whole year may have won over many collectors who aren't that patient. Something tells me I'll be glad I skipped Hasbro's version of Broadside, though I'm not to fond of paying triple for Takara's deluxe figures (Missfire) even if does it come with a Target Master.

It's not some Hasbro conspiracy to sell more Leader toys, Takara has always spaced it's releases out further. This year just has a couple of months of movie toys to focus on, too, and they take priority over the Legends line.

 

Probably released with the Repugnus drone. Takara couldn't have released the drone alongside the Repugnus head because that's not how they do things.

 

Good to see Misfire on that list. Sixshot and Broadside are maybes. Really depends on whether or not Takara ditched those awful stickers.

Poor Fort Max is going to be outnumbered when this is all over.

 

As others have mentioned, I\'d be particularly interested if doublecross gets swivel wrists, broadside gets some work on the airplane mode and am really hoping for misfire to be closer to his g1 magenta. Roll on images!

 

It's probably a safe bet they won't have any stickers.

 

For me,

Sixshot - Probably a pass since I already have and like the TR one. Would be down for a Takara Greatshot though.
Misfire - Easy purchase.
Doublecross - Probably a pass since I already have and like the TR one. If he comes with additional TM's I may take another look.
Broadside - Easy pass.

 

I've been waiting on Legends Sixshot... Now we'll see which deco interests me more.

 

$120 for Sunstreaker? That's...nearly 3x the prices that carbot MPs usually go for...

 

Who knows, G2 Megatron could show up in one of those TR boxsets with the Clones in them. And as always, it's good to see announcements for more Legends figures. I want all those figures, but I'm most curious to see what Misfire and Broadside will look like. I was actually wondering whether they would do Broadside or not. And if Doublecross were to come with Haywire or Fracas, that would be weird as hell, but at least we would finally get them. And still no Bumblebee or Rumble... weird...

 

I'll probably just give Doublecross' targetmaster to Blurr or something.

 

So I wonder how paint qc will be this time? Crappy and inconsistent? I usually pass on Takara these days due to their products' unreliability.

Huh, I guess whoever wrote the TF wiki entry about the toy was wrong then  

I'm still excited to see Takara's Sixshot, I hope we do end up with some new tooling and a good looking Headmasters-inspired deco.

 

I'm sure Takara will release Bumblebee, Seaspray, Perceptor, Topspin, and Twin Twist. What I'm less confident about are Krok, Quake, Chase, and Getaway.

Either way I'm happy to see the new listings!

 

Curious just to see if Takara avoids those shit stickers completely for their releases.
