Brainstorm?


That's surprising, but I'm glad to hear about Grand Convoy getting a reissue.  

 

Why do this when there\'s going to be another Brainstorm on the market?

They gotta reissue that Windblade. 

 

A second chance at Grand Galvatron? That's nice. I had to drop the first issue due to some homeowner issues to ensure ends met that month. Then they were all double to triple priced on the secondary market.

But with that September 29th release date (?!?), I don't see how I can swing UW Computron, LioKaiser, and Grand Galvatron practically all atop each other.

 

Yeah UW GG prices on Ebay are crazier now...

I was lucky enough to get mine for $140 using Amazon points when the going rate was around $200.

 

I'm hoping I can pick up a GG...

 

You can still get them everywhere, sometimes for under 2000 yen, in Tokyo. They are shelf warmers.

 

That's just depressing.

 

They should have reissued Blurr, Scourge or Windblade instead...

 

This is great news for the people who missed out on Grand Galvatron. He's totally worth it.

 

Wonder if there's a chance Grand Galvatron will be at domestic retailers, or just TT Mall or whatever.

As for the MP cassette reissues, nice for anyone who missed them, though the Hasbro Asia Soundwave reissue is also a chance to get them. It's nice to have options.

 

Actually excited about the Buzzsaw tape pack. Only Takara release I truly feel that I am missing (outside of a couple repaints and Bapes). Too many KOs out there for me to trust much of the aftermarket.

 

Coincidence. These reissues are probably less new production and more old stock that TTMall dug up and is selling through the website.

 

The Frenzy/Buzzsaw set is overpriced as hell for the legit one; the sets flooding eBay are 95% KOs.

Never liked the first Brainstorm mold, I'll be sticking with the Walgreen's exclusive should I be able to secure one. If not, I suppose the Takara version it is then, unless I can find a loose set version.

Already have or don't want the other stuff.

 

For my money, making it a Walgreen's exclusive was an annoying and silly move. A lot of people don't have one nearby, and unlike some retailers, they don't ship to home from their site. I mean, a feckin' drug store got an exclusive. A drug store.

 

Oh crap; if this is true I may end up spending far more than I should. I'm definitely looking at the stuff that's not Brainstorm or Ratrap. If it's TTMall only I may hesitate more due to the yen mitigating savings and tesnso I think having raised their prices(I think? was there something about this?) but if there's also an Asia release i may look into just going through TCP.
I actually wonder two things: is this leftover stock like with that Thundercracker and Eva Convoy relisting not that long ago? And will the MP cassettes be reissued on the Jtailers as well?

Seeing as my area's devoid of Walmarts it's nice to be on the other end of not having something nearby. Though making it an exclusive is still stupid.
