Just booted up the Transformers Legends Mobile Game and there's a new event: Harvest of the Insecticons. Looks like new rare cards have been added, I got a new tier 3 Hound, there's also new cards for the three Insecticons.

looks like their servers are getting their a$$ kicked from all the updates, I'm getting errors and lots of lag.

EDIT - ranked 750th but that will last like 2 seconds. Ran out of exploring energon. The rewards you get include small energon recharges but I wonder how much $$ Mobage will get from coin purchases of people needing more. =)

 

Cool event but they still need to work on their servers. Just participating in the event grants you a large stockpile of recharges. So far I have found a Hound with the 3x event multiplier. Nice.

 

I think this event is going to cause havoc on my deck. I've beat the first 4 levels of bosses (370pts so far, rank 602 at the moment) and have 20 Silver Warrior medals. I'm near maxed out at the moment, as I'm trying to level up Bot and Alt cards separately. Throwing 20 more cards in there is going to kill my plans.

 

I have taken up the strategy to not bother levelling my common and uncommon cards for now. I just transcan them to get that version into my cyberdex and focus on upgrading my rare cards. I have yet to get any super rares of course. Though at this point I had already leveled up a Smokescreen to 20 that I transcanned at level 1.

 

Yeah, commons are just XP fodder. I'll probably just end up using them all and just get them again later if I ever want to level them up.

I've hit maybe like 3-4 Combat Caches out of dozens of tries. Couple Wheeljacks, Chromias, a Ratchet in bot modes. Only luck I had from spacebridges was a Jazz alt mode. We'll see what happens with this event...

 

I got to play a little but there's a lot of lag, freeze and kickout

 

The servers must be on overload right now -- half the time I do a boss fight it freezes, can't upgrade and can't trans scan -- keeps saying "card not found"

 

I got only one super rare and its Arcee....got it from the regular spacebridge too lol

 

I have that super rare, too..alt mode. Got it the same way, through a normal space bridge. I also have Elite Shockwave level 4 alt mode.

 

Have already lost 13 silver event medals due to game bugs since the event started. Lag and connection issues are one thing -- a little (or a lot) of patience and you can get through it. Permanently losing in game items makes the game worth deleting.

I have received zero rares through the space bridges, and only a handful of level 3s from the combat caches. Then the game takes away 13 more chances at the space bridge due to a bug. Ugh.

 

So far only have gotten hound, acid storm

No, just Android right now. The site has a pre-register option for iOS, I believe.

I've gotten a ton of errors, though I don't think I've gotten them when doing the spacebridges. I've been able to get an Alt mode Starscream and robot mode Grimlock so far with this event - but like 30 other lvl 1 & 2 cards.

I think they've probably never had as successful an app before. =) They're learning the hard way about server overload (looking at you HTS).

 

As annoying as the server overload and the losses it leads to is, I cannot really fault them for being too popular. When the content first went live it was a breeze, but I had to go do something else. Then when I came back it was deadly slow and bugging all over the place. It has slacked off a bit now. My girlfriend is out of town the next few days so I am expecting a lot of middle of the night playing for me.

 

I got the 3X Hound as well. Is that a gimme of playing the HOTI?

I'm having a lot of fun with this, but it's kinda buggy. I can't get into the transcode option anymore and I've got both of Optimus' modes and I can't combine! WHYY!!

I don't know if this is a bug, but I've opened the event space bridge like 25 times with full 7 character payouts. It takes forever...

 

There is more than one Optimus set in the game. Are the cards you're trying to combine of the same rarity?

I decided to toss them a buck for one of the special x3 cards. Got an alt mode Hound and realized all of those special cards work just like the normal ones (you need two to combine together) and the price to open more jumped from $1 to $3. No thanks! I'll stick to what I get for free.
