I was thinking now that the Generations Brand has G1 Optimus Prime & Megatron should Hasbro take the chance further into 2011 to visit lines other than G1. So far the Legends brand has included characters from : TF:Cybertron, TF:Animated, TF Movie 2007 & TF Movie 2009, Hunt for the Decepticons, Universe & Generations And we had the similar Spychangers Gobots lines too. But looking back to those earlier lines there seems some obvious gaps such as no Legends Armada or Energon Characters, no Legends RID (as such), and even in the lines that got representations there's obvious repaints and missing characters. Examples I'd give would be : Cybertron Sideways, Cybertron Defense Hotshot and Cybertron Defense Scattershot, Cybertron Red Alert (original design), Cybertron Signal Lancer. Armada Demolishor, Armada Cyclonus, Armada Optimus, Armada Megatron, Armada Starscream, Armada Tidal Wave. Energon Optimus, Energon Megatron, Energon Slugslinger, Energon Demolishor, Energon Ravage, Energon Divebomb Animated Lugnut, Animated Grimlock, Animated Megatron Earth Mode, Animated Lockdown, Animated Ratchet, Animated Bulkhead, Animated Shockwave, Animated Rodimus. That sort of thing I'd rather personally have a lot of those as much as I might like to see Hasbro make a modern Legends Gears, Wheeljack, Windcharger, Sideswipe, Bluestreak, or Grapple too but I'd be just as pleased that they didn't limit themselves to only G1 related & Movie themed characters. I especially notice the gaps in the pre-existing lines like Animated and Cybertron. If you agree or disagree please post, and add your own suggestions.
Legends-class Beast Wars would be in a nearly perfect scale against Generations G1 characters! A little Waspinator-meets-Starscream action would be awesome!
That would be great. I'd love to get some Beast wars legend class figures, or any new Beast wars toys for that matter...
I could go for a Legends Class Waspinator. Legends Class Transmetal Megatron too, to suspend hovering in front of Masterpiece Optimus Prime. I think you know where I'm going with that. I'd personally love to see the Legends line get an expansion. They're great budget priced toys, just a pity they're so hard to find over here! I'm happy the Movie series has managed to get the majority of its characters released in this line in some shape or form. As long as Hasbro keeps making new Legends, I'll probably keep buying.
They'd have great scale with Titanium Optimal Optimus too. And Rattrap could finally hang with his great-aunt Arcee. I'd troop-build BW Infernos too, line them up against the wall in ant mode and freak out the wife!
I'd like legends beast wars, if they did the at least the 5 main maximals with a few predacons that would be freaking sweet. I'd like them to at least toss one or two beast wars figs into generations though, I want a new rattrap.
More Legends would always be welcome. As long as I could actually get them easily enough here in the UK. Gimme a Legends Fort Max. So he can play inside my normal-sized Fort Max.
