I just combine them as soon as I get both robot and alt mode then level it when its combined. Is it better to level them separately?

I'm still trying to get a damn Sideswipe lol All I have is his alt mode.

 

I've only seen one player with an optimus card. Other than that, I've seen sound wave, shockwave, ironhide

 

I wouldnt fuse a non maxed level 4 card, it would be worthless if i would fuse them. So i'll just wait till they fix the bug.

 

What exactly is the bonus for trans-scanning maxed cards vs. maxing a card that is already trans-scanned? I'm curious because the game seems to be misleading in a way, when you start the game they give you both leader cards and force you to trans-scan, so it leaves you with the impression that trans-scanning is what you would normally do, instead of waiting forever to max out two sets of cards.

 

Its a tutorial. you can get the leader cards also by finishing all the quests. Read all the help topics. it says the best way to fuse is when both are maxed

 

I read that, which is why I was asking "what, exactly, is the bonus?". The doc is unclear and I am curious about what the difference in stats would be.

I must be playing the game wrong, but I am more "interested" in getting all the cards and having the characters trans-scanned than I am with updating them.

Guess I like the game for the artwork more so than the PVP.

With that being said, once I get a matching pair, I personally trans-scan right away.

When I do go to upgrade guys, so far I have been lucky and have been able to upgrade guys that are "complete".

On the flip side, since you can only hold I think 100 cards, when I get duplicates, I just sell em or use em to upgrade whatever I have, even if its not trans-scanned.

 

In these kinda games cards need to be fully maxed before fusing, it will drop in value if it isnt. If there will be a possibilty of trading then people want proper fused cards.

I play it on a next level I guess. Only aiming for level 4's and try to fuse stuff properly

 

I have yet to even see a level 4 card.....but yeah, guess I'm playing wrong.

i really dont want to sound like a smartass, just trying to help   And i got lucky once with a level 4 card bumblebee on a free pack. but the rest i burned a lot of euro's for it (my gf would kill me if she knew) FML. and now stuck with a lot of 4's i cant use.

I made the fusing mistakes on rage of bahamut and other cardgames so with transformers I was really cautious lol

Good luck with the Tier 4's. I have yet to get any and I am at level 31! I have now spent $50 on coins for the Premium Space Bridge and only got Tier 3 cards. I have given up on Tier 4, not even going to worry about them right now.

 

I see some with trypticon, metroplex and predations, damn I hope to get them

 

you can fuse level 3 cards and then max it. But im talking level 4 cards. If you ever played games like rage of bahamut you know that fusing non maxed high end cards is a waste. If you are not willing to buy packs I would fuse level 3 cards and then max it. Dont max level 3 and then fuse, thats a waste of money

 

I agree. I had a Tier 3 starscreem at level 20, got the Alt mode and fused him. Set me back to Level 1!!!!

Flip side to that is you cant just sit and wait for the other half of said cards, or you will lose every battle. I am leveling up my Tier 3s as I can, If I get the other half, I will fuse them and start over. But So far, I have only gotten about 4 Tier 3 alt modes to complete them and fuse. So its a gamble either way.

 

I have 6 Tier 3 guys:

Chromia, Wheeljack (who I started with) and Ratchet are fused together and all around Lvl 15-20

Thundercracker, Ravage and Skywarp are not fused, and around lvl 10 or so.
