I really like this game. But the CONSTANT "Please check your connection and try again", Oops your dumn ass crashed again" and lack of finding any tier 4 cards is getting me to question continuing with it. Very frustrating. The the Tier 4 issue I can live with. The constant crashing is getting me to a breaking point.

 

I had the same thing happen with a Thundercracker, but I didn't pay attention to the stats. I've been trying to find out exactly what the trans-scanning bonus is, and that may be it - if you max characters before scanning them, you get a level 1 scanned card that can be upgraded further? If so, then that's a huge bonus if you can basically double the stats of a card.

I have several pairs of cards at level 25-30 that I'm trying to max out before trans-scanning them, so it will be a long time before I can find out

 

Got to say I'm already getting sick of the constant crashing also. I'm hoping this is just a bad day. If it becomes typical. There's no point playing. Which would be a shame.

 

Exactly. Its really a good game for a phone based game. But it keeps telling me to "Check MY connection". The disconnect it on thier end not ours. FULL 4G, I am not having any connection issues. And the App crash please restart thing is annoying as hell too.

 

Trans-scanning will reset them back to level 1, however you get to keep your current stats. It does make it HARDER to level up though if your stats are already high after scanning. I am finding this out with StarScream. He is at level 16, I have to upgrade with 8 level 2 cards just to get him from 15 to 16. While others that are not trans scanned level up easier. Probably to keep it fair.

 

Right - however hard it may be, it would mean that a trans-scanned card that came from two maxed cards could end up with much higher stats than a trans-scanned card that came from two lower level cards.

It's a trade off either way, if you hold cards and max them first, you get to use them both in your team while you're leveling them up, and trans-scanning them will leave you with a hole to fill. In the mean time, you have two high level cards that will help more in your PVP battles - I'm noticing this on my alt account where I'm not trans-scanning, I tend to be able to fight in a higher weight class than my other account, which has several scanned mid-level cards. If you trans-scan first and then start leveling, you'll probably win a few more PVP fights in the short run, but the characters will max earlier and you'll probably have trouble going up against people who went the other route.

 

Seeing as people are ripping the artwork from the game, can someone maybe rip the always satisfying Transform sound whenever you go to the main menu?
Would kill to have that as my text sound.

 

You can pull the art work right off your droid. Its in one of the folders. Someone had it posted here earlier. All the cards are there.

 

Most of the sound effects are there on the SD card too. Only the music is part of the .apk file. They are in .ogg format other wise I'd attach the 3 different transformation sounds that are included.

Maybe I'm missing something, but there are some cards I can neither sell or use for upgrade. They are starting to fill up my roster thoug, so how do I get rid of them?

Yep, would be a piece of cake with the right program. Android seems to work well with the original .ogg format though. No need to convert it other than to bypass the restrictions on this website.

If you just want the files PM me and I'll e-mail them. Can't do much converting/hosting while at work.

 

So do the files need to be emailled then? If they're already on the SD card and in a format that Android can use for notifications, isn't it simply a case of saying where they are and then we copy them across?

You're absolutely right. But they are in a hidden folder. For some people that may be a hurdle just too high to jump...
