I already got my lesson from my 2 previous T1 raid (Overlord & Optimus Primal T1 rewards), where I bleed BC because I only have 1 x10 raider. And that time there was no RAW pack to have a guaranteed alt/robot w/ sig weapon.
That's why when Mobage introduced the RAW pack, it gave the paying players assurance the expected card of the money they've spent.

You can try simulation using r5 reflector as one of your commander and do battle, and see how He withstand 2 or 3 single attack, or even a crit..

Unfortunately, the ruby choice was limited to 2: Arcee for 150, or Kup for 1000. No 500 Transformer or 100 weapon option.

You may be stuck with 60 Arcees. Presuming you get 9 Robot-Alt matches in it, you can use the rest to MTM them, then occaisionally make an all-Arcee deck for the fun of it!  
(usually at the beginning of an event before you need a stronger deck)

 

Gestalts & Triple/Quadruple changers are more possible now that they's broadened their definition of the evolve cards.

 

I would go for as many R5 kups as possible as I find they are a good resources for upgrading your cards to MTM. a couple of R5 will quickly max out your level over 200 R2/R3 cards.

 

speaker of triple changers I thought mobage once came out saying it was impossible for this to be done.

which is bs. If they can do an evo prime with all different shots, how in the world can you not able to introduce triple/quad changers?

or even combiners. by having 5 bot/alt and giving you a combiner bonus if you have them all in your deck to simulate the added strength

But for the Triples, they said that back when Evolve cards were just Transforming from robot to 1 Alt mode.

That's a neat idea! I can see a more general type called "Sub-Group Bonus" used for 5 & 6 part combiners, Dinobots, and any other signature team of 5 or 6.

Where you are seeing Primus is the next boss card? The only discussion I've seen of Primus is that he'd be a logical character the next time they want to do this. Can't imagine they'd turn around and do it right away.

 

Actually 9 arcee is not bad.. can be used as nerfed deck for Pvp.
But I haven't get rid of my 40 single cyclonus cards sitting in my base last coronation of starscream campaign..

Not so sure if its true, I think I read somewhere in fb page, but did not put much attention to it, maybe one of those opinions originated because unicron come out, so we expect boss stats to increase also.. Otherwise proven, Let's see the next event unfold few moments later...

 

Pulled off second tier rank. Hovered between 700 and 400 the entire event. No sweat, no money spent. Used maybe 600 BC that I had saved up. Came in with about 800 EC and left with about 930 EC.

Got myself a Galvatron, managed to snag a Matrix from the bridge...not a bad event at all. Had fun, no money spent, and won the only possible award as far as I'm concerned.

It's all about stocking up and not going all-out every event.


However, the last PVP event sucked SO bad that I actually forgot to log in for three or four days. Not sure if I'm getting Reflector or not because my phone locks up EVERY time I try to touch the screen when the login bonus screen comes up. Not sure if I'll get the Energon Chains either.

 

On the plus side, if you manage to get the game working again, you'll be able to pick up the rest of Reflector next month when it loops through the rewards for Feb (provided they don't forget how many days it's supposed to have)

And by the time we get to the end of February the game will either have been shut down or Reflector won't be worth having two of anyway so you won't be missing out on anything.

And no, I doubt Primus this week unless he's a more traditional R5 in terms of power. They just did Unicron. They need the whales to recharge not just resources, but money and energy as well.

That said, this is Mobage we're dealing with. So it could just as easily be Bruticus vs. Superion or something.

I lucked into a Kup weapon. Spent 600+ battle cubes to get Galvatron.

Not sure I would wanna spend that much time out of my life for any other character.

I was away for work in November and my wife was logging in for me on the iPad at home. She told me 1 or 2 days the game didn't completely open and there was a message of server troubles or something.
Mobage did the right thing and continued everyone's login streak.

They've made Reflector quite powerful and most people will have 2.
This means:

-He'll be powerfuller than many top-tier reward cards from last year
-High-deck Players will see their power advantage shrink to the masses
-More people will buy the powerfuller pay cards to (re)gain an advantage.
