Plot twist; we’re only getting one Jumpstarter and god has deserted us.

 

Just recently got the Earthmode Mirage so I might have to pass on Leadfoot, although he does look spot on.
If anything, I\'m more interested in what the figures have been standing on.

The teaser suggests they're all the same size box. That seems off if only one of them is a Voyager. The Jumpstarters are wide, but I don't think there's a configuration that makes them take up nearly as much space as a Voyager. I also think Hasbro knows the appeal in the Jumpstarters is the pair, and if they're in Diaclone colors that's a VERY specific audience. You can toss those over to wider etailers and use this as an opportunity to get that second use out of Terrorsaur (Fractyl) and then deliver on a retooled Springer to closer match Marvel or IDW that wouldn't fit anywhere else.

Because then you get three bites at the apple. The original Siege release, whatever would come as a Wrecker, and then the 86 version.

I'm betting the middle ones are Springer and Hopefully-Not-Bulkhead. Then the top one is probably Twin Twist.

That would suck immensely, and hopefully it's Fractyl on top and the Diaclone Jumpstarters are a two pack elsewhere... But I doubt it since the Twin Twist we saw has a Wreckers symbol...

 

Yeah, it's interesting that I seem to have a G2 collection forming, lol. I went ahead and ordered the G2 Selects Megatron to go along with the gang. Why not at this point?

 

Looks good, especially the Fossilizer.

Can't wait to see Springer.

 

It could be that for once Hasbro are going to play nice & drop the Jumpstarters in a two-pack?

Got my preorder in. Leadfoot looks great and I like the mastodon fossilizer.

 

And a lot of times cheaper too

 

I really have to wonder if that Hammer they allude to is a build a figure, since it seems they're teasing it with the way the boxes connect.

Leadfoot and Masterdominus do look really cool, but I still feel like there's some other things I want to get instead

 

Leadfoot looks amazing, that mold wears those colors really well - kinda wish he had a G2 emblem instead of a Wrecker one, but that's the line. Fossilizer is more "meh", and this one might be even doofier looking then most. Kind of weird that they aren't emphasizing the Weaponizer function of them in the marketing pix and showing a combination of Impactor and Leadfoot with their Fossilizers... Maybe Hasbro realized the combos are doofy looking too.  

 

Seriously, all they need to do is make a sabretooth fossilizer and they would be all set for Power Rangers X Transformers

I'm sure that's true, but having done that a fair bit in the past, I'm over it. I'd be all over an Impactor/Leadfoot 2-pack, but I'm not getting these. I have less than no interest in Fossilzers, and can't be bothered to go online to get rid of them these days.
