I’d imagine that Topspin will come eventually. Maybe that leaked capsule line is a Wreck N Rule w2.

I’m actually kinda tempted by Springer… don’t have Siege and kinda like WnR a bit more.

I'm a toy and Marvel guy, so the Amazon Springer looks SO much better, IMO. He also doesn't have the schmutz all over him.

I finally added the Leadfoot and Masterdominus 2-pack to my collection last week, and I wanted to ask, has anyone else experienced this QC issue with Masterdominus having duplicate front legs?

    WIN_20221116_22_41_08_Pro.jpg

My copy of Masterdominus has two left-side upper front legs and two right-side lower front legs.

This was heart breaking to see, after having to wait until November to finally add this figure to my collection.

Was finally able to get Wrecker Twin Twist.
And with that I'm done with this sub-line for the time being unless they have a second wave.

If they do have a second wave, I would hope we're getting a Wrecker Topspin.
And there's a lot of potential for more characters, though who would they do at this point?
    - I can se them doing redecos of Broadside, Roadbuster, Whirl, and maybe Inferno since he was a member in the original Marvel comics.
    - I can even see them doing a redeco and partial remold of Ironworks as Rack'n'Ruin.
    - However, I'd really prefer a new mold or at least a heavy remold of Sandstorm. He could really use a new mold.

As for my thoughts on Twin Twist...
I had the G1 version of him and Topspin as a kid and they were some of my favorites.
Not so much for the gimmick, but I thought the alt mode designed were the best thing ever.
I wasn't collecting when the TR versions first came out, so I missed out.
Never really liked the headmaster gimmick, but otherwise I'm mostly happy with this design.
Things I want to try to mod:
    - Un-headmastered.
    - Ankle tilt.
    - Better heels.
    - more compact back kibble.

I do love that they decided to do one of the Diaclone color schemes.
I was planning to do it myself some day, but it's always great when I don't have to do it myself.

Also, since he is going to be part of my Diaclone sub-group, I'm making him his own character like the other Diacloners that have been released do far.
New name is going to be Torsion based on the French (Canada) name for Twin Twist, Double Torsion.

I'm hoping they eventually do the other Diaclone color scheme as well.

Going Christmas shopping for myself and family.

Honest question: How's Comic Universe Impactor? Because I'm torn between the two-pack with him ($39.99) or the Siege one ($25.95).

My inner penny pincher is thinking the two-pack might be a better value, but I wanted to hear from you guys. Like, how do you guys like the Marvel-based head and chest?

Personally speaking I'm a bigger fan of the Wreck 'n Rule Impactor, but its a personal choice what you like more and matches what you collect.

The 2-pack version of Impactor has the paint job from the G1 Marvel UK comics. (i.e. the purple and tan colors are more G1 accurate) The Siege figure has the shades of purple and tan that Impactor has from the IDW comics while having the G1 head design, a mashup of G1 and IDW. The Siege Amazon 3-pack with hologram Mirage and Powerdasher Aragon is based solely on IDW Impactor having the more rounded "The Iron Giant" head sculpt.

Basically the Impactor figures are as follows...

    1) Siege 2019 Impactor-G1 Impactor in IDW colors; 50% G1, 50% IDW
    2) Amazon WFC 3-pack 2019 Impactor-IDW Impactor as a Decepticon; almost 100% IDW
    3) Amazon Legacy 2-pack 2022 Impactor-G1 Marvel Impactor; 100% G1

I hope this helps describing the differences between these Impactor figures.

It includes G2 Grimlock, though. Was he ever a wrecker in any form?

Wreckers add new members all the time. Could definitely see Grimlock joining.

2-pack. In-hand the chest on the Marvel Impactor is so much better in person vs Siege and the deco and look is more polished.

I do recommend leg fillers… I just took the set I bought for my 3-pack IDW Impactor and put it on the Marvel 2-pack Impactor despite the slight color differences, lol.

Also, Spindle looks good on Impactor since the colors match and I pretend it’s an “Iron Spider”/“Doc Ock” Impactor, lol. But YMMV if you like weaponizers/fossilizers (I don’t mind them).

Wasn't he (T-Wrecks) a founding member of the Beast Wars Wreckers?

Thanks. I think my biggest gripe is the head since I'm not really a Marvel UK reader, but I think if I have it in hand, it'll grow on me. I'm just content with having an Impactor period. (And the 2-pack means $19.99 for him plus a fossilizer vs $25.95 for him on his own almost sounds like a steal.)

(Though I'm a bit surprised no third-party guys did any alternate head kits. Whatever.)

I cannot say if Grimlock has ever been a member of the Wreckers, but he is a wrecker who has wrecked lots of things. LOL

Yes, the Beast Wars: Uprising finale text story "Derailment" had Grimlock off-handedly mention being a Wrecker during the Great War, though I doubt it is a detail most people are aware of.
