Iguanus is his Pretender Shell in bot mode but his bike in alt.

Skywarp is Starscream with a unique weapon.

 

I'm not familiar with Iguanus ...is he supposed to be a bike?

edit: nevermind, just seeing now he's a Pretender, with a bike shell. Pretty cool!

The inner robot turned into a bike, yeah. What they're doing is just making it so the robot mode is the outer Pretender shell and the alt mode is what the inner robot turned into

 

shittt i might get iguanas, i normally hate core class figures but his bot form is so unique

I like this idea and hope they adopt it for more Core figures.

 

Yeah I'm REALLY digging how Iguanus looks here.   I mean it's not every day you see a lizard man turning into a bike. Hope preorders for him are up soon.

 

Are the core weapons meant to stack? Looks like either of these could hold the core rodimus sword

Anybody got references for the weapons? It doesn’t look like Iguanas’s gun design matches any of his G1 guns, and Skywarp’s weapon looks more like the hilt of a sword than anything.

 

Well not what i ever expected with Iguanus. I expected BW Iguanus. This is cool, but it warped my brain as it is nothing like i expected.

 

It's likely intended to coordinate with any of the legacy weapons.

 

This is the perfect way to do most of the Pretenders. The shells are their iconic look. Even as a G1'er if you dumped a pile of inner bots in front of me I'd be hard pressed to say who is who. Now being on Bugly and Finback before you redo Bomb Burst, Skullgrin and Submarauder.

Weird that they both come with the same weapon, but I was passing on Skywarp anyway.

 

Oof, no null rays on Skywarp is a big miss. Iguanus looks cool.

Skywarp doesn't have his arm blasters but instead has a tuning fork? Total fail. Why was this even a concept?

Damn, Hasbro, how do you mess up a Seeker's weapons? Other than that, Skywarp is cool, and I quite like Iguanus. You can definitely see how their weapons are meant to combine though.

 

Oh, my... Iguanus is a MUST.

Skywarp looks great, but the lack of Null Rays is just stupid. Not sure what to do with him, now. I'm really disappointed that he's incomplete.

 

Skywarp is very underwhelming due to him missing the null rays.

Iguanus on the other hand is very, very cool. Ankle tilts on a Core? A technoorganic look which results in a weird organic bike? Sign me up. Still not a perfect update of the character but it's pretty good for repurposing so I won't complain. Really hope for Submarauder and Skullgrin in the near future.
