I’m also gonna need Blast, Hooligan, Space Case, Wingstun, Devastation Brutes, G1 Navy Blue Nacelle, Ghost Starscream, disintegrating (black and grey) Starscream, black and gold Nova Storm, every strange deco Acid Storm has ever had, an accurate Hotlink, green Thrust, Shattered Glass Dirge, Action Master Thundercracker, and an Air Warrior three-pack.

Put them away....like keeping the boxes? That ups the storage space needed to collect by like 3x.

I guess I’m not “worth my salt,” I tear the boxes open with my bare hands then immediately throw them away.

Yeah I bin my boxes too. A collector worth their salt doesn't clutter their living space with literal trash like empty boxes, lol.

You're thinking about the future SS86 Dirge. Now even 3% more accurate than the last version!! Better buy it too!

I guess he will do, but he's kinda purple, the cockpit is a bit dark and for "play reasons" I'm not sure those wings move enough.
But it's not terrible and assuming they reissue Thrust as well as Ramjet then they should make a nice enough set.

But just wait and see Takara do a premium gift set and for us to all swear when that is much nicer.

I do really want Sunstrom though and considering the horrific prise rises they really should use the Coronation Starscream hands on everything going forward in fact if they'd have been smart they'd have use them on this too to con people into buy it twice even if they had the original.

I suspected. Makes me happy as my Dirge has uneven paint spray.

    ??????

I used to keep all the boxes, but I had to stop doing that years ago cuz it takes up way too much space.

Same. Only boxes I keep now are the ones I could see myself using for parts storage, or for expensive 3P figures that would benefit from keeping everything should I ever want to sell the figures. The rest are not worth the effort or the space to keep. At most, cutting out the character art if you're really into it.

Even though I don’t clutter my space with any boxes, I can somewhat see the reasoning in keeping them for expensive 3P figures that have a lot of accessories— including nice inner packaging that provides organized storage for them— and which have exceptional box art. But holding on to the boxes for ordinary mainline Hasbro toys is like saving the cardboard sleeve from yesterday’s McDonald’s fries. It’s not even nicely-designed packaging. It’s just trash.

I somewhat suspect this comment was intentional trolling.

I've taken to keeping the boxes. But removing the inner bubbles/packing and cutting the tape and keeping them flat. Flattened, they take up really little space. The box could then theoretically be put back into form and the figure re-mounted if I wanted to display it or at least sell it with the packaging.

I've come to realize I kind of regret cutting up/getting rid of the packaging I had of old toys. Keeping things sealed and with original plastic sleeves and such in a MISB is a whole other level. That's more speculation of a thing than enjoying a thing.

It's funny how no one would part with dirge and people were so happy to have gotten one. now a reissue comes around with less paint and people want to get rid of it.

First release: omg I can't believe I snagged me a dirge. I'm never letting it out of my sight.

Reissue announced: yeah my original has a tiny scratch. It's going in the trash.

    Lol! So true.

I’m happy to have both. The Amazon one still looks better to me.
